Hello,
For some reason I am having trouble making the c00.maillot file work for my team shirts even after doing everything in this tutorial. https://pcmdaily.com/articles.php?arti...icle_id=91
For example: This is the shirt/maillot I have saved with Paint.net
https://www.flickr.com/photos/quarters...6945359174
But I get the Anna $ Savon Shirt instead.
https://www.flickr.com/photos/quarters...945356148/
This has happened with every .tga shirt I have download or made myself. Can someone please help. It is driving me crazy. Thanks.

Are you saving the shirts as 32bit TGA? if not then the game cannot recongise them

Try also checking if the name is right ( [jersey_abbreviation]_mailot ), and if the format is right (it should be 556 KB).

Not sure I understand what you mean by " [jersey_abbreviation_mailot"
Do you mean am I naming it c00_
...then maillot. Which gives me c00_maillot. Do you mean something different?
PS. Just to let you know, they are all now wearing red Barloworld jerseys, except for Boasson Hagen who is wearing a white Cyanide shirt with Astana shorts...heh.

Correct. Jersey_abbreviation the prefix to _maillot, I forgot you had already said it was c00.
Well it seems it isn't an obvious problem if you've made these parts right. Try putting another team's jersey in the c00 folder (rename it obviously) and see if it works. Also you can try to put your c00 maillot in another team's folder and see if it works.

Yup, I've already tried the c04_maillot template (used Paint.net to put my own Logo and such)
...which leads me to believe that it is not being saved from the Paint.net program correctly, or I'm not saving it correctly? As a matter of fact, now that I look at that NEW c00_maillot file's "Properties", it says that the "Target location" is Paint.net. "Description": Pant.NET.
Okay, nevermind. I just noticed all the team maillots are the same "Description"

Yes, they look like normal.
Did you try what I said? Make a copy of another's team jersey (without modifying it), then place it in the c00 folder and test. Apparently you did it but modified the jersey in Paint.net, did you also test it without modifying?

Okay, copied another team's jersey without modifying it. Then placed in the c00 folder and tested it. Didn't work. |

Are you sure your team folder is c00 then? Try opening your savegame, go to DYN_team and look in jersey_sz_abbreviation.
Btw, if you do the other test (replace other team's jersey with yours and test), then we know for sure the problem is not with your jersey.

Okay, you are asking me to go into the PCM Database Editor? If so, I do not see jersey_sz_abbreviation, sorry.
Btw, why is not my custom team anywhere in the Database Editor. Should it not be in the custom folder? |

No, use either one of these editors or also this one to open your savegame, which is located in My Docs/PCM09/Database/Solo/DB you're playing with. Then you can check in DYN_team your team jersey abbreviation.

Yup, my team jersey is c00_
https://www.flickr.com/photos/quarters...948260692/
Now everytime I start the game, my jersey is always Barloworld
https://www.flickr.com/photos/quarters...948381454/
Except for a couple of riders and Boasson Hagen who is wearing a Cynide shirt.
https://www.flickr.com/photos/quarters...948379700/
However, I did as you suggested (replace other team's jersey with mine and test), now team Andalucia (the team I replaced with my c00_) is now wearing Team Miche (MIE. I believe it is) jerseys.
https://www.flickr.com/photos/quarters...094482877/
I am now more confused than ever.
Edit: I have now put back the aca_maillot back into the ACA file and my c00_maillot back into my c00 file, and Team Andalucia are now wearing their proper jerseys https://www.flickr.com/photos/quarters...948503054/
while my team are still wearing Barloworld and Boasson Hagen wearing the Cyanide shirt.

As far as I can see, that's a shortcut to the actual file. You need to place the file, not a shortcut, in the folder. |

Yup, it was as simple as that. I didn't think those files looked right. Anyway, I placed the file correctly and now everything is fine. Thank you, Cruetrue. Thank you lluuiiggii for all your time and efforts. |
