game crashes when advancing to next day

hi,
the problem I have is this: the day in my career(1st season) is march 23th, 'dwars door vlaanderen' is the 24th. when i click on the button to go to the next day(not yet to the race, just the next day!) the game crashes.
I tried to reboot my computer a few times, even tried with the last weekly save but when i get to that day(march 24th) it just has the same problem.
help? |

If you click on the race, can you see the profile? If not (the game crashes), then you're missing the stage file. Which DB are you playing with?

Yes I can see the profile, Pcm doesnt crash when I click on the race. But it's not loading the race that is the problem i think, i just can't advance to the next day.
I am using a custom db from a friend that was made from PCMDaily2011 |

I just cancelled my participation in the race 'dwars door vlaanderen' from my calendar, and still when i click on next day the game crashes..
What can I do??? I really want to play this game! |

PCMJames: That is the last resort as it would delete all achievements, better don't post if you have no clue.
leander: Obviously the problem does not come from that race when it crashes before the race even is held. If I understand correctly, it does crash when changing from 23th to 24th. So the problem might come from a race on the 23rd. Which races are held on that day? What is written on the screen when the game crashes? Is the game simulating another race? |

@Lachi: I think you're right, the 2nd race of 'Vuelta cyclysta a Catalunya' is held the 23 march(but i don't participate). and when i go to that race in my calendar the game crashes before i can see the race profile. do you have a solution for this?
there is nothing on the screen, the game just crashes to windows and windows says 'PCM 2010 stopped working'
@PCMJames: I just tried that(made backup for that folder to be sure) and it doesn't work...

I don't know which DB you are playing but i guess you just installed it wrong. |

and is there a way of installing the DB again without losing my career? or simply importing that stage into my DB? or use pcm editor to change that race?
sorry, i'm a real noob with this.

Yes, very simple to fix and no need to reinstall the DB or lose the carrer or anything 
All you need to do is open your savegame with an editor (located in My Docs/PCM11/Users/username/Database/Solo/DB you're playing with), look for the Catalunya stages (in STA_stage) and see the name of the file of the 2nd stage (gene_sz_stage_filename). Then, in the CM_Stages folder (Program Files/Cyanide/PCM11/CM_Stages) copy any stage and rename it like what it is in the DB.

I have somewhat the same problem. The game crashed when I advanced from 31-12-2013 to 1-1-2014. No games on the 1st of januari, so what's going wrong? Any idea's?
Now the game crashes when I want to load it. The date of the game is 1-1-2014.

It is not the same problem. The crash at the end of that year most probably comes from a bad variant. The solution should be here: https://pcmdaily.c...d_id=19240
Edit: It has nothing to do with the weeklysave, because these files are only backups.
Edit2: But in case your save game is broken and cannot be loaded, then delete it and copy the latest file from the weeklysave and use that file for the fixing.
