Research In Motion Press Release
The RIM board of directors has taken the decision to create a cycling team as a form of marketing the brand. In order for any marketing campaign to be successful it needs to have a solid financial backing the same applies for our cycling team, as a result of this we have given Patricmy (General Manager and DS) a decent sized budget and have encouraged him to assemble a World Tour ready team despite the teams Continental status. Team presentation will follow shortly. |

Team Presentation
GT Leaders
Andy Schleck

Andy has three targets for this year, Le Tour, the Ardennes and the autumn hills.
Jose Rujano

Jose will lead the team at the Giro because although he is a brilliant climber he can't handle the long ITT's of Le Tour and La Vuelta. He will also help Andy in the Ardennes.
Ryder Hesjedal & Luis Leon Sanchez

Ryder and Luis Leon will be co-leaders at La Vuelta. But don't be suprised if Luis Leon does better not only because he will be at home but also because he has a stronger TT stat than Ryder. Ryder and Luis Leon will both assist Andy in the Ardennes and Ryder will provide some high mountain support for Andy in Le Tour while Luis Leon will do likewise for Jose in Italy. |

Classics Leaders
Fabian Cancellara

Fabian will lead us over the cobbles of Flanders. We managed to persuade him to join BlackBerry over Leopard because we can offer stronger support.
Sylvain Chavanel

Sylvain is a classics specialist and he will try to get a few wins for himself not only over the cobbles but also in the Ardennes. But mostly he will act as a luxury domestique for Fabian on the cobbles and for Andy in the Ardennes.
Lars Boom

Lars has been the dominant force in cyclo-cross in modern times and he has signed on with us to be luxury support for Fabian over the cobbles. He will also be ride La Vuelta mainly to help in the TTT. |

Hahaha, +1
Hushovd and Pettachi would be useful for your leadout too!

Sprinters
Tyler Farrar

Tyler will go for the points jersey at both La Vuelta and the Giro as these are sponsor goals, however due to the tough parcours for these GT's helping with these goals will be the already introduced GT leaders. Also a personal goal for Tyler is the rainbow jersey.
Gert Steegmans

Gert will serve as final lead-out man for Tyler at both the Giro and La Vuelta. He will also ride as a domestique on the cobbles. He will also get the chance to ride for his own chances with his own lead-out train in some smaller races.
Greg van Avermaet

Greg will be the third specialised sprinter we send to the Giro to give Farrar a strong lead-out train. He will also be a domestique over the cobbles of his home province, Flanders
Tomas Vaitkus

Tomas will take over the role performed by Greg at the Giro in La Vuelta. He will also ride as a cobbles domestique. Tomas and Greg will try to help Gert to some wins in smaller races. |

+1 and lets be honest here, without Boonen and Ballan, to support him, Cancellara will have no chance in those dastardly cobbled classics

Domestiques/Young Riders
Marcus Burghardt

Marcus is in the team to help Fabian to Flanders glory
Michael Rogers

Michael is in the team as a GT team mate. He is a decent climber and a strong time trialist.
Rein Taaramae

Rein is a GT talent but in the mean time he will ride as a domestique.
Richie Porte

Richie is similar to Michael Rogers except he has a few years of development still to go and could become a GT contender.
Steven Kruijswijk

Steven is one of the biggest GT talents in the world and the Dutchman will spend the next few years developing.
Geraint Thomas

Big G is in the team as a GT/cobble/sprint team mate, in other words he is one of the best allrounders in the world.
Jerome Coppel

Jerome is a GT talent from France, he might not be the next Bernard Hinault but he might get a top 5 in a few years.
Tejay van Garderen

Tejay is a strong, young rider from the USA and he will be attempting to follow in Armstrong's footsteps.
Bauke Mollema

Bauke is another Dutch GC talent except he is a bit stronger in the mountains than Steven at the moment.
Jakob Fuglsang

Jakob has followed Andy from SaxoBank and will do the same job here as he did there for the team leaders.

I used to make overkilled teams to, it's completely normal when you're new. After a while you just realize that a challenge is more fun

The only problem is that it might get boring for the readers if you win too much.
Btw, why don't you download a better DB (at least a real-name one, if you don't want the big packages)? Much better stats usually, and if you do go for the big packages, lots of new stages, equipment, variants, and more
Either way, good luck

Ups, true, hadn't read the comments, only the team posts. There is still this 258 kb DB, which still corrects names and stats. Not sure how slow the internet, but maybe it handles it

The race was quite boring actually because there were many attempted breakaways including a few attempts from Richie. But they always got caught.

48 km to go
So we sent both Richie and Michael to the front of the peleton to try and whittle down the peleton. It seemed that Sky had the same plan.

15 km to go
However, it seemed as though the pull of the Green and Gold jersey was enough to keep the group together. So Richie launched the first attack but he didn't get much of a gap. Richie's attack triggered a torrent of attacks and these proved that Cadel Evans and Simon Gerrans were the strongest.

Final km
The final kilometre began with Simon Gerrans sprinting for all he was worth and Cadel Evans sitting comfortably in his wheel. Then with 500 meters to go Evans kicked and Gerrans couldn't respond.
Results (sorry game crashed before I could export results);

Word from the DS;
We tried the early break it didn't work, then we tried to get a select group it didn't work, finally we tried a late attack but Evans and Gerrans were just too strong. |
