Hey everyone,
I was just wondering if there's a way to see the time in Pro Cycling Manager?
It's just annoying in things like a road race in a break away and waiting for a GC favourite to cross the line and seeing how close he is and stuff like that.
And sorry I wasn't sure which thread to put this in so excuse me on that.

I am not sure if I understand you correctly. You can press the space bar and on one of the interfaces you see the time gaps. |

no not the time gaps. I just like a stop watch or something from when the riders start.

Im guessing you mean in the time trials?
The only way you can tell how a rider is doing before he finishes a TT, is by pressing spacebar to view the Top 60 riders at each checkpoint.

I don't understand what you want. I already explained how to see the time gaps between the different groups during the road race. Also, like in TV broadcasts, the game will show the virtual leader of all classifications two or three times per stage (at the top left). Do you look for something like that?
If you click on a rider, you can see all information about his standings at the bottom right. For example if you have a rider in the escape group, you can check if there are other riders in the group which are better in the overall standings than your rider. |

I think he mean the live timing, e.g. when you click on a rider mid stage you see there current position in GC (position at that instant)
I don't think it is possible |

As Lachi said, "the game will show the virtual leader of all classifications two or three times per stage (at the top left)." Also, you can see the time gaps between the groups on the race, and it isn't hard to calculate if your rider is virtually ahead of another one in GC.

no sorry but I'm not sure you guys are understanding me :/
im not sure if this is possible either though.
I mean say if you're an hour into the race, then there will be a stop watch or something displaying that one hour has passed since the race has started. do you get me? and also, is there a way to adjust a team budget for one of the (C00) custom teams with the feature? cause i want to make a fantasy team but didn't want to make a new thread.

So you are talking about the elapsed time. I will check the game to see if it is shown somewhere. What do you need it for?
Please be more specific about your questions, which budget do you mean. When starting a career, you can select if you want more money or more scouting possibilities. So set it to your liking. At the highest level, you should get enough money to build a killer team which is way to strong for continental league.
Just make sure to spend it all, because at the start of the career, the game will calculate your budget based on your riders, so you cannot "save" any money at the riders selection.
BTW: It is not a problem creating new threads (after you used the forum search and couldn't find an existing thread explaining it already. This question has been asked and answered one million time before).

I have never seen it so doubt it is in there, it would only be useful for TTs anyway and you have regular checkpoints so it wouldn't be needed |

Fair enough. I think it would be useful in time trials. Cause then you'd be able to see if someone was close to the leading time before they finished. Then you could make commentary a bit better. Otherwise you'd sound a bit weird if you were acting like they were gonna be close but then really they werent...

I mean the budget you get when starting a custom team. and I set it to 100 so i dont get younger people but I didn't realise you don't save any money so thanks for telling me that.
I used the search but the only problem is that when i search something, (e.g. "adjust budget for custom team" which is what i searched) it comes up with random threads that just happened to have some/all of those words in them.

Never use words like "for" in the search, also choose to search for all words rather then some of them.
To raise the starting money for custom teams, you have to use external tools like Artmoney. This is a tutorial for PCM 2009 but is works still: https://pcmdaily.c...icle_id=89 |

ohk thanks. and also just another quick question, do you know how to put cobbled roads in a stage in stage editor. i cant quite figure out how to do it. I've tried changing the road type but there's only roads called Road_A and Road-B etc.

This is the technical forum. The changes are small, that a stage maker looks here.

+1
This feature would make TT's way funner to watch. Just recently, when I was playing the final TT stage in Tirreno-Adriatico, my man Fabian Cancellara got the best time early, but when Tony Martin (who was in the top 20) came through the split -4 seconds on Fabian. I was bitting my nails the rest of the stage, wondering if he would lose or gain time after the check. In the end he came through +2 seconds to Spartacus, but it would have been nice if I had know how close it would be on the finishing stretch. |

Agree. And if there was a timer or something on that just in a corner it would make it soo good! And nice little story! Glad Fabian won!
