1 I've opened STA_Worldch_parcours and all I see is that the stage filename for all world championships and World TT's are the same, for the RR top_plouay, for the TT top_tdf_20. Does this mean that all the world championships will be ridden over the Plouayparcours?
2 A couple versions back you could vote where the next world championships would be held. Is there a way to bring this back? I kinda liked that.

PCM 11 allows the usage of race variants, either create your own or download a DB which has them already. |

Well, I would use the classics as a variant and all, But how does it work? Because I opened a career I was playing with the pcm daily '11 DB and in STA_worldch_parcours all there is is Plouay, can you please explain? |

I am pretty sure that the daily DB has variants for the WC, so you don't have to do anything.
If you want to know how it works, then try the forum search. If not here, then the Cyanide forum sure has instructions about it. |

Ok, will do, and for national championships? How do you add these? Is it enough to just copy another national championship and just edit the country? Probably not, because than their would be 2 riders wearing the e.g. USA champion shirt? I would like to add just one, for Luxembourg, but I can't find any recent info about it... |

It is possible to add NC, but there are not enough riders from Luxembourg and either it would crash right away or the gameplay would not be enjoyable.
You would have to look in the daily DB to see how it is done or ask a DB maker, but in my opinion it would be a waste of time. |

Adding an NC is the same as a race (a classic). Only thing that changes is that fkIDnewUCI_class is either 14 (NC RR) or 15 (TT). So yeah you can copy the columns you don't know what to fill with from other NCs.
As Lachi said, the gameplay won't really be enjoyable, with only 17 riders from Luxembourg (in PCM Daily's 2012 DB). But it wouldn't crash (I think that the game would only crash if there were no riders from the country... even only 1 rider might work).

Alright, cheers for the info all.
Now one more thing, point 2 from my first post, the choice for where the next world's are held, is that possible?

Luigi: Keep in mind that only riders with contracts can participate in NCs. I doubt that there's 17 riders from LUX with contracts.
Timpiej: STA_worldch_parcours is a leftover from previous games. Therefore, alternative routes for the WCs are handled in the exact same way as any other variant: by the files in CM_stages/variant.
You can't bring back the old way (with different hosting countries). |

Ok, thanks guys, glad that there's ppl like you who are willing to explain everything to us n00bers
So if I understand the last thing you said: if I play with the daily2012 DB every world champ will always be hosted by The Netherlands and only the parcours will change?

Correct. I manually change the hosting country in my save games, though. Takes about 30 seconds |

I don't have any evidence to back it up, but I'd be very, very surprised if there wasn't. |

I've added all national championships for all available nationalities on the PCM DB and from my tests - I haven't had any crashes at all if their are no riders competing, the race just doesn't take place. I have only tested the first season though. |
