Problem with pcmdaily db2012

Hi Can Anyone help with the following:-
I am using patch 1.0.4.4. can you confirm the folder i install too. Also i am getting so far through installing in either main folder or the documents/pcm2011/database folder and i get cannot save as not administrator. i am an admin and i have also run as admin. have also gone into regedit and checked i have full control. whatever i do it gives me this error. i am using windows vista. i used your db in pcm2010 no problem and loved it. i am desprate to get installed here. any help/advice you can provide will be much appreciated. |

What's exactly your problem? Game crashes when clicking on some stages, pink logos, etc?

It just wont finish the installation. First time I did it to main location gets to 100% then bombs out saying i can't write to a file as not admin. Even though I am. when i played the game i had like a bright pink tour car. I noticed then that it says on here if you use patch 1.0.4.4 that you use a different place. So i unistalled the whole game. Installed patch 1.0.4.4 (automatically did this) then I tried to install to the documents/pcm2011/database folder i created gets most of the way through it then says i am not admin. bombs out says not installed correctly and i just have folders with no files. I know it's windows rather than the database and not your issue but just I am out of ideas and desperate for something new to try  |

Did you install like this: Right click the installation executable and select "run as admin". |

Try to install the files to a folder on your desktop, then manually move the content afterwards. |

Helly Daily Fans,
i'm installing the new PCM Daily Database 2012, but i have a problem. It's not succesful, because during the installation process (CM Stages) a receive a error
--> "You don't have write privilege to directory 'C:\Games\Tour de.....\CM_Stages'. Please have your system administrator (or other user with higher privileges) install this software.
But my problem is, that i have runed the PCM Daily exe as administrator. Where is the problem? Please help.

Still failed but you fixed the admin thing but then ran into decompression errors rght at the end after 100%. To get the latest db do i need to download v1 and then v2. Please help I am desperate to play with the proper db. I had no problems last year seems it is causing me problems this year. |

Ok.. nobody else had this failing to decompress errors. Whats the best link to download this from again. I will try again from scratch with a new download maybe something was corrupted in teh download. |

Hello, I wanted to ask one thing. I've already ran the .exe file and I've put the folder in C:/Archivos de programa(Program Files)/Cyanide/ProCyclingManager..., but when i put the game, the database doesn't appear. Can somebody explain me why this happens?

The correct folder to install is the first one you mentioned (Program Files/Cyanide/PCM 11).
Are you sure that you have the latest patch installed (1.0.4.4)?

If you have that error, you have to download again. (sorry, there is no other solution, but make sure that the problem really is a decrompression failure)
You could try to unpack to a folder on the desktop first. If that works, you could copy the files manually afterwards. |

The 4th and probably last patch for Pro Cycling Manager 2011 fixes a bunch of different issues, including the bug that made it impossible for AI teams to scout young riders.
Please notice that this patch changes the folder where databases have to be installed from My Docs/PCM/Users/Your Username/Database to My Docs7PCM/Database.
If the folder doesn't exist, create it yourself.
So we dont do this> We do it to the main game folder. The above is what it says to do for patch 1.0.4.4
I feel so dumb! i don't normally have these propblems. honest However this is causing me grief
