PCM 2011 - DB 2012 + UPDATE

Hello,
I have installed the DB 2012 + UPDATE but after loading this DB in the "options", CM is closing getting a message that an error occured.
I can still use the original databse.
Can you help me out plse ?
Other question : can I install the Cyclo Cross 2011 in the same game PCM 2011 or what do I have to do ?
It seems no working.
I uses an official 2011 pcm game, not a copy or something else.
When i installed the game, a update has done after the first opening (official patch). I installed the game for the first time this week (before I used the 2010 version).
I use XP Home.

Very probably you've installed it wrong. Most common installation error (which is actually the only thing you can do wrong in the installation) is wrong directory. The default directory that the .exe file points the installation to has the main folder of PCM in its English name (Pro Cycling Manager - Season 2011). Depending on the language of your game, the name of the folder can change (e.g., Pro Cycling Manager - Seizonen 2011), so you need to manually select the game main folder to make sure it's going to the right directory.
What you could also do now is go in Program Files/Cyanide. There'll be two PCM folders. You open the one with the English name (Pro Cycling Manager - Season 2011), and copy (cut) and paste all the files from that folder to the other folder.

Many thanks for your quick replie. It is working now.
Have you allso a suggestion how to install the Cyclo Cross 2011 DB ? Can I install that in the same directory ? Have you experience of that DB ? I read some remarks telling this is not working (see replies in the download section).

Dear lluuiiggii,
1. I've got just one PCM 11 folder in cyanide.
2. I can't understand where to install the patch.Is that folder right that is offered by the computer or not?I always installed there, which was offered.And where should i copy the other 5 files?
Could you give me a summary which is understandable for me, too?

If you have the English version of the game, then the folder which comes with the PCM.Daily installation file is most likely correct. But since you're having problems, it might not be. You need to install it in the directory you installed the game, wherever it is. As for the other 5 files, you just need to keep them in the same folder as the .exe file, no need to move them.
What exactly is your problem btw? You say you "can't get into the game", so maybe it's not the DB.

I've installed it to c: program files/ cyanide. I installed the patch also there.to the main folder. But i did not do anything with the other files. If i install it to the same folder as the patch is installed is that right?
So my problem is: i installed the patch to the main folder of PCM 11(i bought it so it is original) and when i want to start a new game i get an erreor message
so if i install every file to the main folder it should work, isn't it?

So you can't enter in-game, the game crashes when trying to do so? Then that is not a problem with the DB, rather a technical issue. I don't understand much of these problems, Lachi can probably give you a better help here

Yes, the files you install. The files for the .exe (the .exe file itself + the files named 1,2,3,4,5) can be anywhere in your computer.

now i am installing it to the main folder(the .exe).what should i do then? |

There was a question when i started the game which asked me whether i want to install a patch. I haven't presses yes yet but now i tried it and it's working now.I canget to the game!!!
