SeasonPlanner problem

When I try to open my save, i get the error message attached below...
I know it's in Norwegian, but if I translate it'll say:
"Invalid characters in the specified encoding. Line 1038740, placement 21."
Any ideas of what I can do to fix this?

Which DB? I remember Fenian's Add On caused a similar problem because of strange characters in some variant files.

These kind of errors are common to the pcmdaily DBs. I guess it always comes from the variants as lluuiiggii wrote. The only way to fix it is to find the wrong character(s) and replace them with a similar character or use the correct XML-encoding of it.

The FastEditor does use another way to open the cdb files, therefore you could use that editor to fix it. But the easiest way would be to fix the source of the problem and then start a new career.

Hmm... Is there an alternative SeasonPlanner avaliable, or do I have to find the source in the PCM.daily DB?

I doubt that there is another season planner around.
Post your problem here and maybe you get a fast response.
BTW: I wrote "source of the problem", so you are not looking for a "source" but for the "problem".
