I get the message upon starting a new career(i have just added a team and some cyclists) so my guess was of course that there was an error in the DB but I can't find it ,Will be od great help if I knew what I should be looking for...Luckily I have enough saves(backups) of the DB ( always have at the least the three last in store) but it would be easier if I knew what this is about. |

Does this appear when you're going to play the first race in 3D (in which one of the teams you added is included), while loading? If yes, I remember I had a similar problem caused by some teams equipment. Take a look in the DB, and make sure that the equipment columns (fkIDequipment_marques_roue, cadre, wheels and glasses) are the same of other (working) teams.

Yes I do not use those equipment columns because in the PCM file all are set to Oakley(so are mine) the only exception from this is Cyanides Looser team.
I just went through the new stuff and couldn't find any error (again) but I decided to test if it influenced the whole game and it don't.It is only inb Career not in Single player (stage,classic,tour)...weird |

Yeah, that was the same when I had the problem = occurred only in Carrer, Single player went fine..
But well since you can't find any error I'm not sure what could it be. If you attach the DB I can also take a look.

Okay I will attch the most recent db. the colums edited are cyclist,team,dyn_sponsor,dyn_sponsor_regions,coaches,scouts,physicians.and for obvious reasons dyn_stage,dyn_race,(im just in the proces of seeing if there is anything wrong in those two.

The equipment is the issue.
You have a 0 in fkIDequipment_marques_roue, _cadre and _helmet. It has to be a valid number (from STA_equipment). If you want, you can copy the numbers from another team as a temporary fix. |

Okay I'll give them some equipment from the drop down menu ,but all the other teams have no numbers in those three columns...????...Anyway thanks a lot. (using the fast editor btw.)...not that Lachi's are wrong in any way,this one is just easier... ....a quick look ensures me that 4013 will do fine

If you untick "Use lists in grid" in Settings in Fast Editor, you can see what's going on behind the scenes (and correct the bug)  |

Yep I just discovered that... usually I turn it off from time to time,but this one with the marques avoided me.... |

The other teams have numbers in these columns, if you disable lists you'll be able to see them.
What happens is (I'll try to explain shortly): there are two kinds of equipment marques - one of them is the ones you see in STA_equipment_marques, these are the brands which you can select pre-race ingame. The other kind doesn't appear anywhere - what it does is link the teams to their equipment. For example, the marques number 1 corresponds to the World Tour Frames, and is selectable pre-race. However the marques 53 contains only Movistar frames, and is assigned to Movistar.
The Fast Editor, when using lists, will show you in these columns (fkIDequipment_marques_something) the name of the brand which you can find in STA_equipment_marques. Since the marques of the teams in the PCM Daily DB do not appear in STA_equipment_marques - which means that all teams have some equipment already linked to them - the Fast Editor shows nothing there. But as I said, if you disable lists you'll see the numbers.
Little bit confusing in the beginning but that's the explanation. You didn't really need to know all this though, only for curiosity (and future reference)

No I didn't know all that stuff.. but when I disabled the grid list I quickly solved the problem and it functions now....Thanks for all the help.But it is very helpful to know these things,the more I learn on how to do things etc. the less I will have to ask....and who knows mght even one day help others. |

Hi, I have the same problem and error message when starting my first race in career mode. I´m using the PCM.daily's 2012 DB V1.
Since cruetrue didn´t add Team CykelCity, I had to try myself, but with limited success.
I´ve tried different approaches in dyn_teams, under columns fkIDequipment_marques. The epuipment I originally wanted to assign TCC was the "2012_frame_cervelo". That didn´t succed. Then I tried to add 0. That didn´t work neither. I tried then to assign Garmin´s frames to my team that didn´t work.
Can Anybody help me? |
