Editing Savegame

Im trying to transfer a rider after season end, 1/11/11, but editing my last savegame file, 31/10/11. I edit the riders around, save the savegame as the DB, but it doesnt work...
Can anyone help?

i want to remove one rider from my squad, transfer in a current rider, and change some stats for a 3rd rider.
I try and use the in-game editor, unless someone can give me basic step-by-step instruction for lachis.
I make all the changes, save the db. Open my game, but the changes havnt happened

What did you do? Only change fkIDteam in DYN_cyclist? You also need to change the contract in DYN_contract_cyclist.

I'm not 100%, but 99% that not. And if I recall correctly, the official editor (not in game btw) can screw up savegames.

Again, I'm not 100% sure, but if I'm not mistaken you need to put 119 on team in DYN_cyclist, delete his contract in DYN_contract_cyclist and put 0 in fkIDcontract in DYN_cyclist.

Try exporting it to somewhere else, e.g. your Desktop, then overwriting the file. Or better, you could instead of overwriting it creating a new save (change number in the file name), and keep the other one as a backup.

if i create a new save, who i make sure it used that instead of the original save (should i call it anything specific?)
