Tour de France 2012
Tour is being done by community, still 5 stages left to be done but all of them are flat so I used flat stages from last year.
You need PCM daily's 2012 publicbeta to play.
Thanks to stage makers - Cameo87, Blueberry, Svam, Guig76, 40_les_landes, Johan92, senna02130 and Will_Valverde. Great work.
When 100% done I will upload the complete race.
I also include a provisional startlist.
Route:
Running from Saturday June 30th to Sunday July 22th 2012, the 99th Tour de France will be made up of 1 prologue and 20 stages and will cover a total distance of 3,479 kilometres.
These stages have the following profiles:
9 flat stages
4 medium mountain stages - one with a summit finish
5 mountain stages - two with a summit finish
2 individual time-trial stages
1 prologue
2 rest days
Mountain Stages:
Stage by stage:
XX means stage taken from last year tour but very comparable.
Some profiles(not in order):

Nice job But are the stages still being done? The last stage I saw published there was posted more than 2 months ago... so as far as I'm concerned there's no one doing these stages at all because there isn't enough info to do it/stages doesn't seem to work in the editor (well I saw a post about an error in the editor with the gpx file because it was too long).

I have no idea if they are going to finish it up but the most important stages are created. I played the tour with those 4 flat stages from last year's Tour and I don't think it has any influence on the results. |

Just out of curiosity, did you play the stages or simulate them? |

Every stage played from start to the end. Great feeling when you win the tour by only 7s after final TT. |

Can you delete one split time at the hilly time trial, because the game doesn't run, if there are three split times and this causes game to crash. Please fix that and post stage 10 a soon as posiblle. |

That seems strange, since he has played the Tour more than once, apparently all in 3D, but didn't comment on any crash.
Either way, you'd have to ask the stage maker to correct this. What carmelobymelo did was put the stages together and add them to the DB. In this thread you can find the community work concerning the TdF stages:

I am currently midway through a season using one of the realname databases - is it possible to add these stages to that database so that when I get to the TDF, it uses the 2012 stages instead? I'm currently racing the Giro using 2011 stages, but would like to do the upcoming TDF on the 2012 route. |

Yes but you'll need to do some manual editing. First, download the TdF full pack of stages here:
https://www.partage-facile.com/X6OIC1H...2.rar.html
Now, download a .cdb file which is updated to the 2012 TdF (I attached the PCMDaily 2012 DB v2).
You'll need to open both your savegame (located in My Docs/PCM11/Users/username/Database/Solo/db you're playing with) and the DB attached with an editor (check downloads section), more specifically table STA_stage. Filter/look for the stages with fkIDrace 25 (the Tour de France stages) and copy the values from the attached DB to your save (stage name, stage filename, hil/mo coefficient, uphill_sprint, etc). Then place the stages in Program Files/Cyanide/PCM11/CM_Stages.
Btw: make sure that the names of the stage files match with their names in the DB (STA_stage -> gene_sz_filename), otherwise your game will crash.

Sounds logical, but just wondering about the DB. If I use the DB you attached, won't that mess up my current season which is pulling from my 'vrainom' database?
Just curious. |

You're not supposed to use the DB I attached (also because you'd need to start a new career for that), that DB is only for you to copy the information from the TdF stages. (unless you want to re-add the information, which would need opening each stage info with the Viewer and passing the values to the DB.. much more work ).
