Here's my position:
I'm playing a career on PCM 11 that I'm really enjoying, and really want to keep it going. However, with all the new items that have come out for 2012, I would like to start up a 2012 career. Is there anyway I can set up a 2012 system without getting rid of the 2011 data? |

I don't really understand the question. Do you want to update your current save game to have 2012 teams, shirts etc (like some story writers in the forum do) or do you want to start a new career with a 2012 DB but keep your team?

Well, it will only infect you're rider pictures, so i would say: "Yes." |

Easiest way always is to install the game.
Then copy the game folder.
Install one DB in one folder and then the other DB in the other folder.
Better copy it another time so that you always have a clean install without any DB/patch...for future installs. |

You know the way that there are various other team jersey folders in the Cyanide/PCM11/3D/Cyclists/Cloth/Team.
Is it possible to set up team jerseys for 2012 in these folders and create the 2012 teams based on that? |

I don't want to update my current save game, that's exactly what I DON'T want to do. I want to start up a 2012 team and keep my 2011 team. |

Ah, ok. Then you can do what Roturn says. Maybe it isn't even needed to create a new folder, since as Maddrengen said, there's few things that are overwritten from the '12 DB to the Exp Pack. But it's probably better to create a new folder anyway.

Would I have to re-install the game? |

No, just make a copy of Pro Cycling Manager - Season 2011 in Program Files/Cyanide and when you run the .exe of the Daily 2012 DB, point it to that directory (the copy).

I just wrote this instruction: https://pcmdaily.c...owstart=97
My instructions work for sure. But maybe it is possible to install the daily-DB 2012 over the daily-DB 2011. So do that first and if it crashes, follow my instructions. |

Thanks, guys, that worked really well (after of course the hours and hours of waiting involved with a torrent download). |
