Can any of you guys shed any light on the following message i now get
X Runtime Error
Program C:\Program Files
This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way
Please contact the applications support team for more information
This is stopping me from even being able to play a single race never mind a career. Everything was fine until a couple of days ago.
I have re-installed the game completely yet still it is there, so any help from anybody will be greatly appreciated,

Did you try deleting the PCM-folder in My Documents? (Make a backup / rename it) |

I think this happens when you get a corrupt save game, or something like that.
Try doing what Cruetrue said

If you rename that folder, the game will create a new one.
Renaming your saves is not needed, as it is not recognized in that renamed folder.
Somethimes the error is in the other pcm folder.
This is the official instruction how to reset your game (you already did part A):
Reset the settings of Pro Cycling Manager 2011:
(Beware, it will erase your progress if you don't make a copy of the folder named Users)
A. My documents
1. Click Windows Start button and click My Documents or Documents.
2. Delete Pro Cycling Manager 2011 folder.
3. Run Pro Cycling Manager 2011.
B. Roaming folder
1. Open Computer then Local Disk (C .
2. Open Users folder.
3. Open your username folder.
4. Open AppData folder (*)
5. Open Roaming folder.
6. Delete Pro Cycling Manager 2011 folder.
7. Run Pro Cycling Manager 2011.
(*) Note that on some Windows systems the application data folder is hidden by default.
Here is how to make it visible:
Open the Folder Options by clicking the Start button and click Control Panel.
On the Control Panel, click Appearance and Personalization and click Folder Options.
On the Folder Options, click on the View tab.
Under the Advanced settings, click Show hidden files and folders and click Ok. |

Hi,
I have a similar problem. When I run PCM it crashes showing the same message. I did all you said, but the problem is still there. Everything was ok until today, when the game crashed suddenly while I was playing. Note I'm using Windows 7.
Thanks in advance. |

Did you try the suggestions? It's usually due to a corrupted save game. |

There are three PCM folders, two of them you should delete. Read my post again. |

Ok I must admit you are a genius, now it is working BUT I wonder if it is possible to continue my saved games (I made a backup).
Thanks a lot. |

If they're not corrupted, you should be able to continue them. Just paste them to the same directory (My Docs/PCM11/Users/your username/Database/Solo/name of DB). Try doing it, if it works then they're not corrupted.

Even if it is corrupted, you can use one of the automatic backups from Database/WeeklySave |

So, I copy paste the Solo Folder and de WeeklySave? Both?
Step by step if possible.
Thanks a lot.

You don't need to copy the whole folder, only your savegame. Copy one of the weekly saves from the Weekly Save folder to the Solo folder (in the directory I've mentioned before). Then rename it (take out the numbers), so it's named "Carrer_X" (in the language of your game, so it can be carriere, etc).

Hi, I still have some problems. The game is crashing like every ten minutes. Something is wrong with Intel Graphics Accelerator. I'm using Windows 7. It used to happen before, but not so often. |

Ok Guys, I now have a major problem.
I cannot play the game at all, NO career, NO classic, NO stage nothing. Every time i select an option to play, the game crashes.
I have completely reset the game as described by Lachi (i.e-the official instruction on how to reset the game)
And i even put all the graphic options to zero
Yet still nothing. I am at the end of my patience threshold now and am completely at a loss as to why the game will not work at all, so any help or advice you can give me to get it working again will be very welcome
PLEASE HELP

After you have reset the game, it must work.
But maybe you have another problem. Could you please tell us how you start the game and at which point is stops or shows an error. |
