Problem with message in career

I'm having some weird problems with a message in the career mode after jumping to 2012 in my Skil / 1T4i career.
After accidently sending my agent to look for a new sponsor I got a reply after a few days, containing the info he had gathered. But that's not the problem.
When I then click "Accept" to archive the message, PCM crashes and shuts down. I've tried several times, but it keeps crashing. I also tried to skip the day using Lachi's Editor, but the message just remained in my inbox, crashing again while clicking it.
I really have no clue what the problem might be, and I'm getting a bit worried losing my career, and if so, also my story. Any help would be massively appreciated. I've attached a picture of the message so that you can see for yourself.

I don`t really know what can cause this crash but as it might have something to do with sponsors I guess it is a wrong sponsor or so. Missing graphics or tables...

I was fearing it was something like that. Probably nothing to do about it.
Anyway, worst case would be that I'd have to use a weeklysave from the end of 2011, and then redo all the transfers and teams again.

Missing graphics wouldn't be a problem, since that wouldn't crash the game. There was a sponsor in the Daily DB missing all graphics (files named differently than in the DB) but it didn't crash.
As for the crash, I don't know what you could do. I'd suggest using a weekly save, but you've already thought in that =P

Have you tried to delete the message in DYN_news? Perhaps that could solve the problem.

As far as I know, this will happen if you play with a DB which is not compatible with the patch.
Normally you should install the game like this:
Game
Patch (1.0.4.4)
DB (which is compatible with this patch)

Thanks Lachi, but I'm quite sure that wasn't the problem, as I did install them in that order. 
Anyway, the problem is solved.
