The time limit is a precentage of the winning time.
As far as i know the precentage changes depending wether it is a short or long stage.
prologues dont have time limits though!!!!!!!!!! |

In PCM it's not calculated that way though. Otherwise lots of riders would be eliminated immediately after the very first mountain stage.

In my custom team career, stage 19 to Alpe du Huez, nearly 60 riders were elinimated leaving 112 left in the race, including nearly all the sprinters. This happened because I attacked with my leader Valverde, Pinot, Martin and Astarloza ont he first climb. Practically ruined the race.

I think in real life its up to the judges whether the elimination rule will be in forced so that a scenario like happened in your race will not happen. Eliminating 60 riders from any stage race, especially the marquee sprinters would be a disaster for any race promoter.
I had this happen to me in a mountain stage. too. I really didn't mind much because I figured I wouldn't have any competition in the few sprint stages that were left. Thats is until I realized that 2 of my sprinters were kicked too. lol
I find that the most riders don't finish races in the the ones that have cobbles. Plus its a one day race so it doesn't matter really.
Lance Armstrong for President! Why not have an admitted doper and cheat as president? He would fit in perfectly with all of the lying politicians.

What is supposed to be normal? The fact the last riders got there 1h35 later yet only about 12 abandoned?
If yes, then it's normal. A stage with 6 big (huge) mountains and 285 km would take hours and hours for the leader to get to the finish. Therefore the time cut would be very big. Btw, what do you mean with "AI 'cheating' again?'
Btw, talking about time cut irl, here you can see how the time cut is calculated on the TdF (% of winning time concerning stage difficulty and avg speed):
https://www.active.com/cycling/tourdef...France.htm
Should be noted though that in PCM TTTs and TTs don't have a time cut. On the other hand it doesn't affect recovery (or at least you can't manipulate how much it affects), so it doesn't really matter.

I hardly ever see any rider being forced to abandon due to time limits. In the Giro only 6 rider came outside the time limit, 10 in the Vuelta.
It's almost a bit annoying to see so few rider eliminated. |

And it is really annoying to see that only if one of your riders is in the last group, then the computer decides to kick them out other wise not. |

How can you know if they were not to be kicked?

Honestly I don't think Cyanide would insert that into the game. Why do extra work just to create something unfair?

I'm sure Cyanide does cheat, also I am sure that Mark Cavendish is an alien. |
