I finally managed to make a race today. All seems to having went well at database point, I think. When I start the game and "click" my race the game crashes..... Any suggestions to what I should do? Really want to do that haaard race now
Although even at times, with great PC the game crashes so I found it quite random ( really depends on amount of graphical data in a particular race/stage, classics would be more likely to crash at the end than shorter stages etc ) Lowering settings does usually the job though. Good luck

Couldn't reduce the grahpics etc. so much, but it still crashes.
The problem could possible be my race. Did just add some cities, forests and a river, but could the length have anything to do with it? I think I maybe lost a bit control and mayde a long, long climb Don't know where to see the length of the route.. :/
It depends on when did it crash. If it crashes during the gameplay (most likely near the finish), then do what Alakagom says. This crash happens because the game reaches the limit of 1,8 GB of RAM used, so there's nothing to do but lower the graphics. Official statement:

Memory crash at the end of a stage
On a 32 bit application, Windows doesn't authorize a memory consummation above 1,8 Go of RAM. As Pro Cycling Manager 2011 uses the maximum of the graphic capacities, it can sometimes reach this limit. This generates crashes when the application runs with overestimated options. Reducing the graphic config is the only way to solve the problem.
Here are the principal reasons of memory overconsommation :
-overestimated option (with 'force graphic options' on)
-activating 'one texture per cyclist'
-using non official stages
-using non official graphical elements.
-playing in multiplayer mode
Now, the game can also crash before the race, e.g., you click on the race to see the profile and the game crashes (and you can't see the profile). If that's the case, then the files of the stage are missing in CM_stages, or are named incorrectly (in CM_stages or in the DB). You're talking about a race you've added to the DB, right? Then make sure your stage files are in CM_stages and named correctly (=matching to the DB).
Finally, the crash can occur while loading the stage. These are the trickiest, and can have several reasons. If that's the case, try copying and pasting the last 10 lines of your log file of the game. Right after the crash, go in My Docs/PCM11 and open the file 'Pro Cycling Manager 2011'. That's the log file. Copy and past the last 10 lines here, and someone (not me xD ) may be able to detect the problem.
