Hi!
I try to load up my save game into lachis editor, but it´s not working.
I try to extract from this folder below
C:\Users\myname\Documents\Pro Cycling Manager 2011\Users\myname\Database\WeeklySave
when I do it a message occurs (translated): An error occured. There´s an invalid character in the current coding. Line 74, position19
what´s the problem? |

Lachi's Editor you mean the Season Planner? If so, are you using Fenian's Add On? If yes again, the problem was mentioned some times, and this seems to be the solution.

On a side note, why do try to load the weeklysave? The actual save of your career is here:

I menat lachiseditor v08, not the season planner. and I play with the official database, not the expansion pack V1. so I guess I don´t need fenians add-on.
Lachi: Just a lack of my knowledge. It didn´t work there either though. Same problem occurs.
Lluuuiigii, I read the solution to the problem (thank you for that, I have searched a lot in the thread but didn´t find the same problem as I had) but the letters seems to be in order for me.
Ín the solution for that problem in the link u gave me some letters in the stage race vuelta a andalucia were mixed. But for me all the letters seems to be fine. |

It's in fact Vuelta a España, not Andalucia. By 'all the letters seems to be fine', you looked only at Andalucia?

Well I don't know if the number of lines (that appear in your error message) is counted by tables, putting each cell of each tables one after the other (in a notepad file, all cells are distributed each in a line, so it kinda makes sense to me). If it is like that, the error from Fenian's Add On comes from the DYN_variant_stage, line 679467, while yours come from line 74, which would be way earlier than, and definitely not STA_stage.
Has it already worked (loading your savegame in Lachi's Editor or any editor)? Which year are you on? Well, if you can attach the DB I can also take a look (to attach it just make sure there are no spaces or "strange" characters in the name like carrière).

I suggest that you use another editor. The Fast Editor does not use the same way of reading the tables, so it does allow wrong letter. Same goes for the game.
But my editor and the full editor crash on such letters. |

Do u want me to link the Lachis DB I downloaded to u? I´m not sure what you mean about that last thing.
Lachi: I have tried the editor that comes up as an option when you press the icon on the desk and then click "play". U can choose play, manual, technical support, website, DB editor or stage editor.
I have tried that editor and it didn´t work. the same problem occurs.
The reason why I want to use lachis editor is so I can add money to my team budget, And the reason I´m doing that is that I wasn´t aware of the sponsor-bug. I had many agents searching for new sponsors in vain which resulted in 1million euros lost. and come 2013 and my sponsor who´s supposed to be gone still puts the same amount of money into my team, which is weird but I´ve seen other threads about that bug so I leave it here. and I won´t do the same mistake again.
thx guys for trying to help me out. so the question now is which stage/stage race that "line 74, position 19" is.

As I said, it could not be a stage/stage race that has the invalid character.
Anyway, the editor you tried to use is the official one, very limited and horrible. Lachi was talking about the Fast Editor, which can be downloaded here. If your savegame has worked normally despite this 'problem' and if the Fast Editor ignores it as well, there's no need to correct it, just do the alterations you want.

I have downloaded that one now and it works fine. my last question is: How do I change the Balance in the budget? I want it to increase. Have tried different things but I only manage to change the sponsor revenues. |
