Is there anyway to add in roundabouts?
I am trying to make a timetrial where the go down one side of a dual carriage way and then turn on a roundabout and go back down the other side.

No. You can`t ride the same road in both directions without a bigger gap in between.
You have to create two roads totally next to each other for example to create these stages.
Also roundabouts in PCM look horrible imo. |

Ah ok, I will need a new time trial route then
OK, I will avoid them in the future then...
Thanks for your advice on roundabouts

You can download my Murcia 2011 race. the time trial there was also on the same road.
You can see one option how to avoid the problem there.
As it was one of my first races, it`s obviously not looking perfect. |

Is the way of avoiding it by putting buildings in the middle or did I miss something?
It is the one in the PCMdaily database right? |

Also, can you have the start and finish as the same place?
I want you to go the opposite way for the finish
e.g.
Start = -------------->
Finish = <-------------
On the same bit of road, when I do it keeps trying to go round by route twice, once in each direction. |

Have you been following any stage making tutorials?
You have to place the route first, and once the route is complete, the start line has to be place 2km away from where the actual route starts. So before you make the stage, just tack on a little section of road that you can use as the extra 2km.

I have used this - https://files.pcmd...Basics.pdf
Does it have to be a straight 2 km? I have a bent one... |

Doesn't need to be straight. Are you sure you added them in the route as well?

Doesn't matter. Just two kilometres of road, straight or bent.
EDIT: too slow

I still can't get it to work despite having 2 km of road so I am confused what I am doing wrong...
Is there a better guide than (https://files.pcmd...Basics.pdf
) or not?
Also, Can you add a race to a career once you have started the career? |

There is the guide in the Cyanide forum, but it's in French (you can get a medium result with Google Translator).
As for adding a race after you started a career, yes, it's possible, but you should do it in the off-season (between Oct 15 and Jan 1), otherwise you'll have some problems with it.

What is the best way to make a three way junction?
I want to have a my start/finish in the same place. It is a straight where you turn left half way down at the start of the race but for the finish you go all the way down it |

Just create the junction with three roads, there is no problem. Only make sure they do not enter the junction too close together, that can create some problems (not sure if this is what you wanted, or if I expressed myself clearly).

You expressed yourself clearly
And I am doing that right which is good (I thought that was causing my problem)
My problem is that when I add my route in, it tries to go once round the route in each direction = over 598km
Any idea what could be causing it to do that? |
