It's great to see that there's an active community for this game. Makes me think back of many pleasant PC years! I got this game for my birthday (asked for it) and I'm really looking forward to playing this.
However... I don't know where to start. I see patches have been released, new databases... I don't really know what to do. I love the idea of an improved database, with the actual names and sponsors. I don't know which one to download though, if I want the fullest PCM experience (for offline play). Also, should I patch first, or change DB first? So many questions popping into my mind...
I've seen the guides on this website, they look great. Does the game have some kind of tutorial as well, to explain the basics? That would really help me out!

Keep in mind that there's a minor problem with choosing the database. If you enter the page where you choose the database it will revert back to the original one. So after you have ut the PCM DB as the standard one, don't revisit that page.

Or rename it so it's the first of the list (for example, adding a dot before it).
By the way; the game has no tutorial, only a manual that comes with the game. The only problem is it's full of mistakes seeing as how Cyanide hasn't updated it in several years. Don't trust everything it says, try looking around the forum and use the search function.
