Preselecting riders on the oppositions team for a race

I would like to play a single race "Tour de France." I would like to choose which riders I would like to race against and which teams they are on.
Using Lachi's Editor I have tried to put riders on the teams I would like racing against me. For example I have created a team of 9 riders who I want to race the tour de france against me. But when I start up the game, only 5 of those riders have been selected to ride the tour.
Is there any way I can change it so that all of the 9 riders I have chosen myself on a team race against me, and not some of the others that are on the team already?
Does it make sense my question?
To clarify, i don't need help with choosing the riders on my own team, but the riders on the oppositons team.

So, you wanna... create a startlist?
Btw, when you create a startlist (which does what you want do to) you don't need to change the teams of the riders on the editor, just assign them to the teams you want in the startlist. PCM 11 has a starlist creator: inside the game, you go to Options -> Database, choose the DB you wanna create the startlist for and create it. Then just save and when you try to play the race in single race mode, it'll appear that 'a starlist has been found, do you want to use it?', you click 'yes' and that's it! Good luck

Thanks for the answer, but when I use the startlist in PCM the game crashes while loading everytime. |

@Luigi: Was that startlist creator already in-game from the release. Because i've just discovered it?

@Kimbocooler: You need to be more specific. What do you do? When does it crash? Can you play the game or does it always crash?

I can play the game, no problem, but when I use the start list in the game, it crashes while loading the first stage of the tour de france. When I use your editor to edit teams and other stuff, it does not crash. So my main question is how to select a startlist in you editor Lachi for Tour de France.
I know how to put the riders on the teams I want, but how to select the 9 riders who will particiapate in the tour, that I don't know. You think you can help me? I want to race against some particular riders, and I want them to be chosen for the tour de france. So it is the not my own team but the teams I am racing against

You cannot use my editor to select a start list, also you can only use start lists when playing single race, not in the career.
The start list needs to have a certain name and it has to be made for the DB you are playing with. Using the in-game start list tool should help you with both.
But there is a bug in the game regarding the DB selection: The selection will be reset whenever you open the DB options. Maybe this has caused that you created the start list for the wrong DB.
If you are talking about the race participation in a career, this is a totally different story. You would need to edit the table DYN_team_race, there you can enter the list of IDs of all riders who should participate. But I would recommend against it because it is not enough to just edit one race, you would need to build the fitness of these riders by setting preparation races as well. Also you would need to alter their fitness schedules. So this is really not worth the effort in my opinion. |
