I'm starting a new project.
I want to recreate the 2003 TDF, then make a story.
Ive posted for stages, and now i need help with the db part.
I only need to make a one race db, with only 9 riders for 20 teams.
I have a list of all the riders and teams, and there are shirts for almost all teams on here somewhere.
How can i make this db, and how do i decide rider stats?
Thanks

Well, to decide rider stats you look at the results of the year and give them stats you think are compatible to the results (obviously being aware of unexpected results; reading the race report and race preview can be useful for that). That's what I understood of the question - did you mean something else?
Anyway, there's the Vintage 03 DB for PCM 2010, so I'd just copy the TdF teams and riders from there. There would be a few things to add, such as popularity and region, but given you'll only play a single race there's no problem in not giving those tables realistic values.
To copy the riders and teams, I would use an Editor in which you can open the teams and riders tables on Excel, then just ctrl+c ctrl+v each column, taking care to be pasting the columns on the correct places.

I don't know because I don't use it.. looking now (I've just downloaded it) I don't think so. I know the Full Editor and the Excel Editor work for this, but as for Lachi's, I didn't find a place where you can open the tables in Excel.

I have an excel editor, so if you want to work in excel, then why not using that one?
