How do you ride the ones ? ALways the same happens , the first 10 days I got Top3-5 , but then the last week I loose really much time , in the last 5 races , the recuperation of my best riders are just 'Good'
Also , is there an opportunity to let stay my best rider (Gesink) close to the biggest favorite (Contador) ? When Gesink is left in the peloton , Contador is right , when Gesink is right , Contador is left , when he attacks , I'm always to far from him
And is it bad to let a ride drive the Giro and Tdf ? cause his form is around 80-90 and his fatigue isnt so bad |

Well, you have to pay attention yourself that eg Gesink follows Contador. In climbs, use the dot to let himstay between the first riders of the group.
And it's okay to ride the Giro and the TdF in one season in the game, but don't race too many other races considering the racedays.

Just remembering that fatigue is only influenced by his training plan, the race days (what racing both Giro and TdF will affect) won't affect fatigue. So yes it's okay to ride them both in one season, but you can't be in top shape for both (on the training plan - that would affect fatigue).
As for riding a Grand Tour, here are some simple tips:
- Protect your leader at all times; this will conserve green bar and thus result in a better recovery on the last days;
- On the flat stages, don't be at the front, you can be hidden in the middle of the peloton, that will also conserve energy. But beware of crashes and strong winds (you don't want to do like Contador in the 1st stage of this year's TdF);
- Try having the peak week of your training plan be the hardest one on the GT. (if you'll have only one training plan lvl 6 week on the GT).

Just ride on the dot and wait until the final, don't waste too much energy in first 2 weeks.
With Gesink I managed 1st Giro, 4th TDF, 1st Vuelta in 1 year...
Now in second season I had to use Rolland since Gesink went away. Even with Rolland I managed 1st Giro, 6th TDF and 2nd Vuelta. I just don't use fitness level 6 because it makes too much fatigue |

-protect your rider
-When the climb starts put him on dot 70, so he won't slip down the pack.
-If Contador attacks, counter, or if you think it's a bad attack, have one of your teammates chase (If you have any left)
-On flat stages, do what JSEADOG said
-If you want to attack I recomend attacking, then when you stop put your dot on 90-95, and to finish go to 99
-I also recomend you doing the ingame resarch magnifying glass so you can study how Contador and the favorites are doing.

This game has training schedules. They are rather important, so better read the manual or get info about them in this forum.
The vertical bars represent the fitness levels, the highest bar being level 6. |
