Hi
I have been reading a lot of the stories in the forum, and I have got very interested in making my own story. At the time being I'm in the middle of a career in pcm11, and I like my team very much.
My question is: "do you think it's a good idea starting a Pcm story in a already excisting career?"
I was thinking that I could play the rest of the year, and then start from the newyear? Do you think my idea is totally stupid or do you think I could get something out of it? A really full depth introduction/presentation could maybe replace the lack of experience of my career.
What do you think about it. I would really appreciate your feedback

As far as I remember right, roturn also started his Garmin-story in his 2nd year. So it's definitely possible to create a great story out of an already existing career I think you're idea of starting from 2nd season on is good.

Roturn's Garmin story started in 2011 (from a 2010 db) last year and if I'm not mistaken, won story of the year last year, so I'd say it only adds to the story.
Also if you look in the articles section, I believe Crommy has written a few fine pieces on writing a story.

I've now read crommy's guides of making a good story, and I'm almost sure that I'll try giving it a shot. But first I will play my current season finish
At last, does people want to read your story if you aren't really good at english?

Its a good way to improve your english, and I dont think any of the story awards went to english speakers (or nominations) , not to say their english is bad, so I dont think it should be a problem.

i agree with the other guys really.
from what i have seen from other stories, however, is that a lot of motivation and time is needed! i have tried to start stories (3 in total), but lost motivation very quickly and i just did not have the time in the evenings after work to play pcm, make screenshots of the stages/day to day activities, edit the screenshots, upload them and then write the next part of the story
but please dont let that put you off i would happy follow your story. its great reading about everyones exploits on pcm

I've good another question in common to pcm stories. How do you make spaces between your text, can't seem to figure it out.
I'm thinking about when you make results and so far.
Please help

Your coping the results from an excel-file and the you put it between: You can find tables next to the you-tube button.
In the same way you can use excel for presentations and tables.
A good way of learning how other people does is to quote others posts to see how they are build. Then test on your own and check the result by clicking on preview post.
