So, I'm back! Some of you might have seen the thread I created some time ago asking if it was possible to avoid knowing the TdF results while being on Paris on the 24th of July. Turns out it was, even though the group I was travelling with decided to visit the Champs Elysee on that Sunday evening. Still it took a long time for me to watch the race after coming back home as I had quite some things to do, especially after losing 2 weeks of school. I finished watching the race today, which means I can access PCM.daily again without fear of knowing the Tour results.
Anyway, going to the topic of the thread: as now I'm not as busy as I was right after coming back from the trip, I've decided to buy PCM 11. I would have already done that in England but I was stupid enough to 'let buying it for the next [and last] week', just to know it ran out of the store during the weekend.
After reading some reviews and comparisons, the game definitely seems worth buying. Is that agreeable? At the moment, what are the major problems with the game?
And finally, the only place I can find it for buying online (download version) is the one sold by Focus (which would obviously be bought with daily's link)? In other words, the cheapest I'm gonna find for the download version is $40?
Since I'm assuming your back in Brazil, I'm not sure you're going to get much cheaper than $40 for the DL version. There would be horrendous shipping costs, unless you can find someone on Ebay from Brazil. As for cheaper DL links, im not too sure.
About the game, I've heard its good. There is a really weird compatability issue but its about as common as getting struck by lightning, so you should be good as long as PCM 10 works alright. The AI is apparently a little better, and the "solid" riders is apparently a great feature although I would probably find it extremely annoying. (I personally dont see the riders going thru each other as that big a problem)
Also there are new achievements and Careermode is a little better. You cant renew contracts with your team sponsor so when the contract runs out you always have to look for a new one (quite unrealistic)
