hi lucky guys who's buy the game) I've one question about AI - bots are stupid? in early PCM they're was so stupid and identical) stages were so similar. So, in PCM 11 AI became more smart?))

Yes, so far so good
They sprint alot better and they actually catch up to the peleton now!! even after a 4 minute lead with 20 KM to go they will catch up.

That's not really god and/or a change/improvement. Pretty unrealistic (on flat stages) and it has been like that in pcm2010 already

Well, another thing is that they won't relay in any high pace in the peleton if you got the leader jersey. I had the leader jersey in P-N and i was playing a flat stage and watch tv at the same time.. And i look back. 30 km left and 30 min lead to the break  My entire team had 129-133 BPM I for one like that feature

Tell me, is it still the AI vs. you?
I remember in PCM'10 the AI would gladly let a dangerous break go in if you had the leaders jersey, even if it ment that they would drop from 2nd to 10th place in the GC...

Well, the 'other teams not relaying if you have leader jersey' thing was already in PCM 10, as cactus-jack said.

So far my experience has been that whenever I try and breakaway with a threat to GC the peleton will chase me down. But if I try with a nobody I can & have had successful breakaways.... So while i can't answer your question definitively I can say that so far I find the AI much improved. |
