It doesn't really matter as the fighter skill only applies to AI controlled riders as far as I know but it would also make sense if it didn't increase as its more a mentality than a physical attribute
Hope that helps |

Which is why it SHOULD be increased during the years.

Actually, fighter not only decides the AI riders which will go on breakaways, and such but in human-controlled rider, the higher the fighter stat the better chances he'll go green while attacking.

@Rauling Why would riders necessarily have a higher fighter skill as they age/progress?
@lluuiiggii I asked about the fighter skill a few months back as I was wondering what exactly it did and people said it did not affect human controlled riders, however maybe they were wrong or I have forgotten all of what was said |

Not to answer the question for him, but I also agree they should progressively be given a fighter increase after certain years, but not necessarily to every rider. As rider become older they should have more of a desire to be part of breakaways and try for 'luck' wins. I would suggest this for aging helpers or unsuccessful GC riders once they reach like 35+ years old. IMO.

PROPOSAL!
Fighter stat should function as an inverted bell curve (younger riders get in the breakaways all the time and older ones past their hayday do the same). |
