I've read some of the other stories and wanted to share some of my experiences.
I'm on the 5th April through my first season with Saxobank.
I'm using the 2010 database on the Pro Cycling 2009.
So far I have 29 victories as a team.
Richie Porte is the Aussie Time-trial and road race champion.
Cancellara, Breschel, Voigt and F. Schleck came in the 1st 4 place in Milan-Sanremo.
Cancellara came 1st in Ronde van Vlaanderen after a brilliant chase of Boonen and Devolder with a 4 minute breakaway.
3 stage victories at the Volta a Catalunya; 1 for Voigt and 2 for F. Schleck.
F. Schleck won the GC and Mountain points, beating Contador (which I really enjoyed.)
4 stage victories at Paris-Nice; 3 for Cancellara and 1 for Cooke.
Cancellara won the GC and Points classification after A. Schleck crashed out.
1 stage win at Tirreno-Adriatico for F. Schleck.
Breschel came 2nd in the GC.
4 stage victories at the Tour Down Under; 2 for Breschel, 1 for Cancellara and 1 for Cooke.
1st in Gent-Wevelgem for Cancellara.
1st 3 at Omloop Het Nieuwsblad for Cancellara, Breschel and O'Grady.
4 stage victories at the Vuelta a Andalucia; 3 for Cancellara and 1 for Breschel. Cancellara also won the GC while Breschel won the point jersey.
1st 4 places at the Trofeo Cala Millor for O'Grady, Breschel, Cancellara and Cooke.
1st 2 places at Kuurne-Bruxelles-Kuurne for Cancellara and Breschel.
Loving the success and hoping to carry it through to the Grand Tours.
Yeah, there are a lot of good results when you play with Saxo Bank. It would be nice if you could tell us a little about your planning. Who will ride which Grand Tour?
And from the results, I guess you're right between RVV and Paris - Roubaix at the moment? Becaus P-R is missing.
Andy Schleck is out until Mid-May because of a fractured kneecap.
Therefore Frank Schleck will be leading the team for the Giro.
I'll probably use Richie Porte as support possibly alongside Fulsgang. Not sure about the rest of the line up.
For Le Tour I'll have to have both the Schlecks, along with both the Sorensens. Again the rest of the team line up is unclear, though Cancellara will be there and possibly Juan Haedo.
I January I signed Thomas Dekker, although I can't use him until July. So while he won't feature in Le Tour, he will in the Vuelta, alongside Andy Schleck and the Sorensens again.
