I was wondering if there is any guide for making startlists? or if anyone can give me a short brief on how to do it?

It's quite simple.
Open Notepad.
Insert:
<startlist>
<team id = "">
<cyclist id = ""/>
<cyclist id = ""/>
<cyclist id = ""/>
<cyclist id = ""/>
<cyclist id = ""/>
<cyclist id = ""/>
<cyclist id = ""/>
<cyclist id = ""/>
<cyclist id = ""/>
</team>
</startlist>
That's a startlist for one team. Just copy it from <team> to </team> to add more teams.
The IDs can be found in DYN_cyclist and DYN_team.
When saving, you need name it after the race's gene_sz_variant_xml which can be found in STA_race. Make sure to save it as .xml, e.g. France - Grand Tour.xml. |

@CrueTrue: do yo know which name you have to use for the Tour de Suisse and the Dauphine Libere? The only thing i know is that France - Grand Tour.xml is for the tour de france. |

Well, as I said - you can see the names in STA_race under the gene_sz_variant_xml column.
Tour de Suisse: Tour dHelvetie
Dauphine: Dauphine Libre |

Here i go again; When i try to add the Tour to my DB the editor crashes when i try to exsport (i use FullEditor_V400) - I'v managed to add a race in a db i used a couple of months ago, but now i can't seem to figure it out... Any idea where i may have gone wrong?

In my opinion I would use the pcm fast editor , I find it a lot easier to use and it seems to be more stable, of course you should be able to do it the way you are but just thought i'd give my two cents (as some may say), also do you add the stage in the normal db editor and then just put in the extra details in the full editor as I find this to be much easier as the normal db editor does a lot of the work for you |

Does the editor crash while 'Exporting xml to cdb'? If so, then check the lines you've add, most probably you've got an unfilled cell.

For my own created race (Glava Tour of Norway) would i have to make my own variant_xml? or should i use one of the existing ones?

You should type in something that's unique to your tour, e.g. Tour of Norway. |

When people write stories, they have start list and results etc. Do they write it down by hand or do they use "exporte"?
The reason i ask is because when i export the results, i get a loooong site with more codes then results
(example;
Result
1 Lars Boom Garmin - Cervelo 5h01'03
2 Jérémy Roy FDJ s.t.
3 Greg Van Avermaet Omega Pharma-Lotto s.t.
4 Branislau Samoilau Quick Step - Innergetic s.t.
5 Chris Anker Sørensen Skil - Shimano s.t.
6 Dirk Bellemakers Landbouwkrediet s.t.
7 Matthew Lloyd Sky Professional Cycling Team s.t.
8 Arthur Vichot FDJ s.t.
9 Lucas Sebastián Haedo Team Saxobank - Sungard s.t.
10 Martin Mortensen Vacansoleil Pro Cycling Team s.t.)
