I was wondering how the efforts put down on a previous day can impact the form of a rider the very next day? Say you have a flat stage followed by a mountain stage. If you tried to use your best climber as a leadout and completely exhausted him (no yellow/red bar left) how would that impact his performance in the coming climb? Does it matter or will he have a worse day then he would if you had just let him sit there?
I'm wondering because I'm in the Vuelta and I constantly see Valverde, Kirchen, Anton etc. sprint on evert flat stage only to end up in top 25. Will this be to my advantage in later stages? |

I guess the only impact riders suffer is a smaller green bar. The less green bar, the worst performance, but I do not think only sprinting would cause them to lose much green.

It does affect the overall green bar. The recovery stat is important but i dont think sprinting would make any difference.
And it only impacts in stage races i think. So you coulkd ride a very hard one day classic but the next day start off perfectly fresh in a different race |

I'm in the Vuelta with 3 flat stages before we start climbing again. If my opponents for the GC would sprint on all those stages would that affect them later on? |

I dont see why. Sprinting just affects the red bar which is a very temporray thing..
why would thdey sprint anyway? |

I was just wondering because it means using more effort. In real life you should be a bit more exhausted the next day if you were sprinting for the finishline.
I don't know why Valverde and Anton are sprinting against Cavendish, ask Cyanide... |

1.0.3.1 or something, I've heard that the .4 patches give some weird results still. |

Far less so and less stupid sprinting by GC favourites. Definitely an improvment |

I won't bother with it now, I've been using .3.1 since it came out and PCM11 is released in one month.
However, can someone give me a simple "yes" or "no" as to wether sprinting on a flat stage will impact the performance the next day. There must be some difference on wether or not you end the stage with full red and yellow bar or if they're both empty? |

I can`t say yes or no as I am not 100% sure.
But in my opinion it doesn`t matter. |

i always wondered about the meaning of columns in dyn_cyclist table:
gene_f_lastgreenused
gene_f_totalgreenused
gene_f_green_percentage_done
fitness_f_energy_spent
and to some extent also:
gene_i_date_last_breakaway
gene_i_date_last_punchers
and if they have any influence on rider's performance or evolution |
