I’m proud to tell you about my Database Project. The last months, I have been busy with this Project and at this moment, the database is ready. It’s a database which is entirely focused on the year 2011, with new riders, new teams and new races. This database is following on my 2010 database, which I have made in name of PCMspot. This forum doesn’t exist anymore, so now I release it in my name. This version is much better than the first one, because this one is much more extensive. It will be one of the larger databases in the world of PCM 2010.
The content of this database is very large. So, the installation wouldn’t be fast. The project has to be downloaded in several parts, but you can also use a torrent download. Be sure you have read the ReadMe file before you are going to install this database. I wish you a lot of fun with this database and I appreciate it if you give a comment afterwards. Do you discover any errors in the game, tell it in this topic.

* For now, torrents will be seeded only daytime. They can be slow in the first days, because there aren't a lot of seeders now. When you have downloaded the torrent, I will ask you to seed it. *
* When they said the files are not available yet, you have to refresh the page for a few times and you'll see the files are downloadable. *
* Don't you want to play with variants, you don't have to download part 5 and 6. In part 4 are variants and stages for the first season, so I have made a version which include variants and a version without variants. If you don't want variants, than choose for the second part 4. In part 1 is a folder called 'variant'. If you wouldn't play with variants, don't copy this folder to the CM_Stages folder. *
Fix:
Because there were a few errors in the erwin2011db.cdb, there has been released a fix. This one will ensure that the errors are solved. You only have to download this fix and place it in My Documents\Pro Cycling Manager 2010\Database. The first erwin2011db.cdb file, which is included in the download, can be deleted when you placed that one in My Documents\Pro Cycling Manager 2010\Database. It isn’t possible to continue your career when you have already started one. A new career is the only way to play. The features of the fix:
- The button ‘National Team’ in career mode will work now
- Leader jerseys for the new stage courses are working
- Stages with cobbles which aren’t indicated as stages with cobbles, are now indicated as ‘cobblestages’ (now there are no crashes when you want to play that races in career mode)
- Prologue Tour of Qatar isn’t a team time trial, but an individual time trial
- Stage 4 of Giro d’Italia isn’t a team time trial, but a road stage
- Small update of the stats
Because there were some problems with the races for riders U23, I made another fix. The problem with the pcm.exe has been solved now. I have simulated two seasons and there aren’t any problems in my game. So I publish the second and last fix for the Erwins 2011 Database. You have to do the same thing as the first fix. You have to place the .cdb you would download in My Documents\Pro Cycling Manager 2010\Database. Select the database in the options in the game and you can play with a correct database. I also edited some other things:
- There wouldn’t be a pcm.exe when the races U23 have been simulated
- There has been added some more races U23, so you can choose anymore talents in relation to their results in this races
- All WorldTour teams have an automatic invitation for all the WorldTour races
- Squads of all teams are updated till 4 May 2011 (for example: Muto free rider and Rebellin in the team of Miche)
Instructions for installing the Erwins 2011 Database:
- If you have downloaded the database (torrent or megaupload version), you have to extract all the files.
- Start with a clean version of Pro Cycling Manager 2010. This will mean that you have to begin with the original version of the game, without installed databases. Only in that way you couldn’t have problems when the database has been installed. So, I will advise you to reinstall Pro Cycling Manager 2010 before you are going to install this database. When you decide to reinstall the game, be sure you delete all the files on your hard disk and in the folder My Documents.
- After you have made your game clean, install one of the two last Cyanide patches. That will mean you have to install the patch 1.0.4.1 or 1.0.4.2. The last patch has a problem with the sprints (sprintbug), but without the last patch you can’t play online.
- Now start the .exe file which you can find in the folder which you have downloaded and extracted. The file has been called: Erwins2011Database.exe. Follow the instructions of the installer, but please remember that you install it on the correct place, in the correct folder. This has to be the main folder of Pro Cycling Manager 2010 on your hard disk. Often this is: C:\Program Files\Cyanide\Pro Cycling Manager - Season 2010, but maybe you have installed Pro Cycling Manager 2010 on another place.
- In the .rar file you have downloaded are 3 or 4 other important files. There are 2 .cdb files. You have to place the Local.cdb in C:\Users\NameComputer\Documents\Pro Cycling Manager 2010. When this folder isn’t there after you have reinstalled Pro Cycling Manager, start the game one time and the folder will appear. You have to replace the file when they are asking to replace. There is also another .cdb file, called Erwin2011db.cdb. You have to place this file in C:\Users\Name\Documents\Pro Cycling Manager 2010\Database.
- In the .rar file you find also an .xml file. This is the new interface. In the folder the file has been called: InterfaceAKpixel.xml. You have to place this file also in the folder in My Documents, precisely in C:\Users\NameComputer\Documents\Pro Cycling Manager 2010\CustomColors. When you have placed it in that folder, you have to go ingame to the options. Than you have to choose the second tab and choose for: Editing colors. On the left side below you can choose the file. Select InterfaceAKpixel.xml and click ‘Ok’. Now the interface would work ingame.
- Finally there are the stages. You can get these in different ways. When you have used the torrent download, the stages are in de .rar file you downloaded. In that folder you can find the map CM_Stages. You have to extract this file in the folder: C:\Program Files\Cyanide\Pro Cycling Manager - Season 2010. When they are asking to replace files, click yes. It is important you install the stages at the correct place, because you can get crashes if you don’t.
There is also the possibility you used the Megaupload version. This is more difficult, because you have to download six parts with stages. When you have downloaded all the parts, you have to extract them one by one in the map: C:\Program Files\Cyanide\Pro Cycling Manager - Season 2010\CM_Stages. Again: Remember you place the stages in the correct folder, namely in CM_Stages. When you have done this step, you are ready to play the game.
- Because there were a few errors in the erwins2011db.cdb, there has been released a new .cdb version. This one can be downloaded in this topic (above this part). After you have downloaded the file, you have to place it in: My Documents\Pro Cycling Manager 2010\Database
- To play with this database, you have to select the .cdb file ingame. Go in the menu to the options and go the last tab, called Database. Here you have to select the erwins2011dbFixV2.cdb and click ‘Standard-database’. Now you are ready to play the game. Enjoy it!

@ sam1196: There are 2 or 3 races that don't have correct profiles. I think that are Langkawi, Hainan and Qinghai Lake. All the other profiles are realistic profiles of 2010 or 2011 races
