I have decided to start a story since i have nothing better to do
The database is PCMNorge1998 v1. i have added 3 riders to the team, because 10 riders are to few. the riders are: Kurt Asle Arvesen (cuz he's kewl), Morten Voss (cuz he's young) and Jacob Nielsen (cuz 13 was better then 12)
Personal Ambitions:
Our Main goal for this season is Win The Tour of Denmark
by doing that, we will show Team Acceptcard, And Chicky World, that we are the best danish team.
Sponser Goals:
Sponsers:
"Capitaine de Route"
A Danish team. A Danish captain. After a great career Jesper Skibby has decided to finish his career at Home - Jack and Jones. he has won stages in The Tour, The Vuelta and The Giro. on the flat he's a breakaway specialist. and our best rider uphill.
The Sprinter
Not much to say about this guy. he is our fastest when it comes to a sprint, and will hopefully give us many victories.
And The Rest
More comming up |

Del Olmo Attacked after 4 km. about 11 others followed him.
but they was soon caught by the peloton.
then it was Nelissen's turn to attack. he got away with 5 others, but they where caught by the Peloton after some kilometers.
he tried agian, and this time it was a success. he got away with 9 others.
at halfway the gab was 6'11''.
Festina and Cofidis did their best to end the breakaway!
with 22km to go the last outbreaker was caught, so it was gonna end in a mass sprint!
we made a sprint train for Silovs.
But it failed! and Silovs was badly placed!!!
After a close sprint, could Michaelsen celebrate his win.
we had to settle with 8th
The Podium. We are happy that it was Michaelsen that won... A win for Denmark after all! |

Stage 2
The Tactic
Today is for Skibby, we hope that he can reach top5. we will try to stick with Leblanc for as long as possible. if he succeeds to stay with the favorites we have a good chance of sprinting to our first victory.
Results soon! |

Stage 2
Agian today is it Nelissen who takes the initiative for a breakaway. he succeeds and get a 2min gap alone.
he was caught by 7 riders. they formed todays breakaway, and their biggest gap was 3'53''.
becuase of yesterday, it was up to TVM to catch the Breakaway. and they did their best
because of the short leash, the breakaway was caught with 30km back. they didn't stand a chance
Skibby positioning himself for the last climb
Right before the last climb with 5km left!!! (dont get fooled by the 20km sign)
Colombo Attacking!!!
he gets caught on the downhill section, and its time for Skibby to position himself for the sprint!
with 1km back Skibby opens the sprint and gets a little gap!
but they caught him and sprints past him...
Magnien is todays winner. (the finishing line is placed after the race ends?)

Conclusion after the Stage
A 9th place... Not what the team was hoping for, but not bad. we still need our first victory. "luckily" for us, non of the other danish teams has won ether.
Recruitment Priorities
Team Home - Jack and Jones is very interested in the following riders, who's contract is expiring after this season:
Bo Hamburger - A Danish star. Home - Jack and Jones will do everything in our power to sign this rider. he would take our team to another level. he has shown several times that he is a good hilly rider, and capable of riding in the Mountains too.
Frank Høj - Another Dane. He would strengthen our team on the paves, and on the flat. And with his 25 years, there most be some potential left in him.
Less Important Priorities
George Hincapie - Not as realistic as signing a danish rider. he has shown himself as a great all-a-rounder, and would fit perfectly in our team
Alexandre Vinokourov - As Denmark lack good stage racers (except Riis ofc) we must look elsewhere to get them. and this Rider has shown great potential. he is not our first choice but we will, if able, sign him for next season
Carlos Sastre
Levi Leipheimer
Alessandro Petacchi As Denmark Lacks Sprinters too, we will again look elsewhere to find them. and Petacchi would be a good choice. |

Etoile de Bességes Stage 3
The Tactic
Today is like stage 2. its for Skibby. he will try to stick with the favorites and outsprint them.
The Stage
Today the breakaway was formed by Andersen, Machado Ferreira and Auger. but they was soon caught by Lopez De Muain, Grabsch and Talman.
too bad for us, Andersen lost contact with the other outbreakers.
at halfway, Nelissen got away with Gaument and Dierckxsens
The Breakaway getting Over the top. with 20 kilometers to go they still have 3 minuts! Andersen, Nelissen, Gaument and Dierckxsens got caught by the Peloton
Skibby is having a great day, he is attacking to catch Magnien.
He forms a group with van Petergem and Magien. soon after Roux caught them, and the 4 are doing everything possible to catch the breakaway. the breakaway is only 54 sec ahead!
5 Kilometers to go! the lead is still 43 seconds! Talmant is leading the breakaway group!
We simply couldn't catch them! Talmant outsprints the others and takes the win!
They Peloton catches the 4. but Skibby was the strongest in the sprint. a well deserved 5th.

Etoile de Bességes Stage 4
The Tactic
Becuase of the relatively flat stage ending, Skibby will try to attack today. he will ride aggressively. we will try to make sure that no breakaway is formed, and if someone gets away, we will hunt them
The Stage
Silovs following the tactic. he sets the pace so damn high, that no1 can breakaway, after 30 kilometers, he is too tired to keep the pace high. so someone breaks away. the full list is Sentos Marques ( number 171), Dierckxsens (number 22), Garcia Axosta (number 73) and Gaumont (number 145)
Nelissen attacked, and catches the breakaway
with 50 km left, the peloton catches the breakaway, skibby is positioning himself up front. soon the favorites will start attacking.
Nelissen and Stephens trying to break away. they get a 30sec gap. but are caught after 5 km
Rous Attacks. the peloton didn't react. then Leblanc attacks, Skibby follows.
Leblanc couldn't follow Skibby on the downhill!!!
Skibby passes Rous and is now the rider in front!!!
With 10 kilometers back the gab is 1'50'' to the peloton!!! Rous and Leblanc was caught
with 5km back the gap is 1'40''! The first victory,in this season, is assured!
Skibby waves at the spectators and smile at the camera. This win was well deserved!
The Fastest in the peloton was Rous

Etoile de Bességes Stage 5
Tactic
With a relatively flat ending, Skibby will try to attack. if that doesn't succeed, we will try to do the sprint, if not to tired. BUT! the main objective today is not winning the stage, its winning the race, and we will therefor do anything possible. our main tactic is: No Breakaway
The Stage
We followed our tactic, and no breakaway was formed. this is how the race looked like, before the last of the hard climbs.
on the last climb, Skibby attacked and got a good gab. about 50sec
But he was caught!
Many riders tried to break away from the pack, but none was strong enough. With 3km back Colombo attacked and Skibby followed!!
Skibby opens the sprint! was it to soon?
It was perfectly timed! the stage- and the general rankings for Skibby! he also managed to get the points jersey!

Trofeo Deia
This is our second race of this season, and we hope for victory. the peloton isn't as strong as it was in Etoile de Bességes. we see ourselves as one of the strongest teams. Skibby will be our captain today. though the race is famous for breakaways.
