Signing new riders

Hey guys, First season ever on PCM and I've reached July and have started signing new riders for my team. Is there a reason that I can only ever offer up to a few hundred dollars less then what the rider is asking? It will never let me offer the rider what he thinks he is worth or more for that matter.

Eg. A rider thinks he is worth 3100 us dollars...I can only offer him a maximum of 2800 us dollars...

Well, happened to me in PCM 09, not sure if it's still the same for PCM 10.

But, you said dollars, right? Yeah, changing to dollars doesn't affects the contracts thing. I mean, that 3100 dollars he's asking are indeed dollars, but the 2800 'dollars' you're offering are in fact euros (€).

So what you can do is every time you're going to negotiate a contract, change the currency to €. At least that was what I did.
