Well, I downloaded the Expansion Pack V2, but somehow I'm still stuck with the races which Cyanide put in. The names have been changes, though. All the rest seems like how it should be, such as new scouting areas, good names for staff, UCI Pro Tour, Continental Tour, etc. I guess only the new races won't show up, both in carreer and a single race. How can I fix this? |

Did you download V2 (full package) with 3,3gb or V2 from 1.0.3.0 with 2,2gb?
With the first one you should have all new races if you install correctly and pick this database in the options before starting a career.
With the 2nd pack you also need all older parts, too.

I downloaded the full package. Is there a map where the new races should get in? |

Not 100% sure what you mean with a map. But if you install the package correctly, then choose the DB in the options, then start a new career, there should be all the new races in the calender.
You could also check if you have more races in CM_Stages in your mainfolder than with the original version. There must also be some stages called v1..., v2.... or v3.....
These are variants which also don`t exist in the original version.
If you don`t have all these files then you probably installed wrong. |

Can you upload a screenshot of the month of January (in the calendar)? |

I uninstalled PCM and installed it again. This time I downloaded the PCM pack V1 -> PCM pack v1.0.3.0 -> PCM pack v2. Still got the same problem.
Here's January:

Here's January:
And then install v2.1. (this doesn't add races)
Plus I don't think there were any new races in January. Check Feb and March.

There is - the Aus ITT is new, ergo you have the new races. |

Heh, but I thought the 2010 database for PCM 09 got way more races. There's no Tour de San Luis in January here, for example. |

PCM09 and PCM10 stages are not compatible. So there is no Tour de San Luis in PCM 10 format yet. Also there are no .dem files for this area i think.
So it`s very much harder to create this race with the new editor.
EDIT: Sorry

It's impossible to make Tour de San Luis since there are no .dem files for the area.
Edit: I'm too slow compared to the new admin

It's not impossible either - just a lot of extra work. mb2612 posted up some South African races on the PPBD forum before it went down. Just had a look in the stages section here - don't see them I presume because the .db focus is more Europe / North America. |

I'm pretty sure they are posted here too
So yes, I know it's possible - but the amount of people willing to go through that kind of work is currently around 1. |

I tried it once. I wanted to create races in New Zealand as I did for myself with the old editor.
But after a few hours I stopped it when I recognized how hard and long taking this is. Also it looks worse and less realistic than with .dem files.
My stage reminded me on CYM4
So I have a lot of respect of this guy creating some stages by hand.

oh... so the reason why there's no Herald Sun Tour (October) and San Luis (January) is due to the new stage editor
hmmm... looks like it'll be more HTC until the races are the same as in 09 (San Luis, Herald Sun Tour... other 2.1s, 2.2s etc) |
