The rider renewals for PT and CT teams should be starting today, as I begin sending out PMs to all those who have sent in their goals (which is now the majority of teams).
To go with this, I have reopened the Transfers Discussion forum - it can be used for anticipation of the transfers aswell as discussion of the Renewals.
Below is what I will be PMing to managers soon, minus the link to their renewals file:
Its time for the Renewals of your team's riders in the management game. You now get a choice of which riders you want to renew, and for which wage you want to offer them - or whether theres any riders you do not want to renew. (In which case, offer them €0)
Each rider has a minimum acceptance wage, and you have 3 rounds of transfers to try to get close to that and agree a deal - if a rider still refuses after your 3rd offer, he becomes a free agent.
Here is your team's renewals file: <Link will be here in PM>
It includes the initial demands your rider's are making for their wage - they may be willing to settle for a lot less, or they may not be willing to negotiate much at all - that bit is random, so it is up you to to find out.
If you havent already, you should now also download the 2011 database, in Excel, to see your team's stats. https://www.pcmdaily.com/forum/viewthr...d_id=11438
This is Round 1 of the Renewals. Make your first offers in the file and then send it back to me. Any who accept will then be fixed on that wage, those who do not will make a 2nd wage demand, and an indication of how close you were:
Guide to How Close:
This column tells you how close your last offer was to the minimum that rider would accept. Here's how close your offer was:
Close – Within €10,000
Average – Within €50,000
Way Off – Within €100,000
Serious Increase Needed – Over €100,000
You will then receive your Round 2 file from me.
Note: It is possible to go over your salary cap in the renewals - but the fine will be 2x the amount you go over
Questions on renewals can be asked here

Henao Montoya's wage is now €320.000, €220.000 lower than in the past season. Great. |

I know this is a stupid question, but riders can be renewed and then be sold right? |

The completed renewal sheet, does it have an updated budget/salary cap? Mine seem off, especially because I don't have pozzato anymore.

Just pay attention to the first row, and not the 2nd row, and it should be fine
