Ex-Tour winner is definitely a great and big name for a team that goes from CT to PCT. He maybe isn't in his 2010 form anymore and can't win TdF anymore, but he can definitely catch some continental wins for them. On another side, we do have Bak, Kesiakoff, Quaade, Larsson, Lander and Coppel who are all possible signings for this team. I mean, you can't expect them to sign Froome or something, so these names are indeed "big" in PCT World. But as this forum is and will forever be anti-Schleck, I can't do anything about it. Haters gonna hate.
Be calm Admir.Go Andy!

Will be interesting to see the race schedule/planning next season.
This year riders like Ciolek, Gerdemann, Konovalovas, Sbaragli, Pardilla etc. were rarely or not at all used in African races.
Next year the team will have more non Africans and this might mean, that a rider like Farrar is racing small races in Africa or the team in general is moving the focus a bit more away from there.
Can`t imagine that the team is planning to ride lots of European races with more than 1-2 sprinters and right now they have Bos, Farrar, Ciolek, Sbaragli, who all can top10. |

Personally I doubt they will use these guys in Africa, except maybe early in the season for warming up (something like Tropicale Amissa Bongo). I can't imagine many of them wanting to tear themselves away from Europe. Rather, I would think that with only 17 WT teams MTN is banking on getting a WT invite to most WT stage races that it wants as well as at least one GT (probably TDF).

Bah, Lopez to Astana. The team is loaded and he probably won't get that many changes the first couple of years. I could see him riding the Vuelta or the Giro in his first year tho, hopefully the Vuelta.
My concerns with Andy is that he only seems to want to ride the Tour. Say if he join CULT, will they get a wildcard? I dont think so. I have a hard time imagining Andy winning smaller, 1-week races and minor classics. For the publicity, its a good move and will put them on the radar, but result wise.. something gotta change and I doubt that it will. |

I completely agree. Prudhomme surely knows that Andy will never again be a contender. The only way I would see that changing is if he manages something big at Paris-Nice.

No surprise here, Lukas Wisniowski signs with Etix-Quickstep for next two years.
Very promising result this years, as now, looks quite a decent all rounder.

Lopez to Astana could be a great experience for him... let's hope they let him race enough to improve a lot...
Estrada, another colombian, who rode this year in an Ag2r development team, will ride for Lampre in 2015 and Fernando Gaviria (1994) from Colombia-Coldeportes, current runner-up for the green jersey in l'avenir and panamerican u-23 champion will also ride in a WT team next year, but didn't want to say the name yet...
So, more colombians there... I hope that doesn't bother your europeans too much

Nick Nuyens won't go to Garmin - Cannondale. Wanty - Groupe Gobert is named as possible destination.
Current Cannondale rider Edward "Ted" King is close to signing with a 'high level' team. He didn't reveal which team it was.
Kluge (IAM) Veikkanen (FDJ) and Boucher (FDJ) have extended their contract with 1 year.

How does this guy keep getting a contract? He has done nothing for years outside of winning in Luxembourg in 2011, failed as a domestique and surely there are better options out there for a team with ambition like Cult.
Blythe to GreenEdge is a interesting move, good to see him back at WT level and he has potential to do well in the cobbled races and as leadout for Matthews and possibly Ewan.

He was at least 5th in this years Tropicale Amissa Bongo.
And in 2012 5th in the Tour of Pologne.
Other than that nothing that important and in 2013 wasn`t riding at all. |

Out of ALL THE PCT TEAMS, Farrar chooses the one with 5 other sprinters, and probably Goss too.
Are you fricking kidding me.

Out of all the PCT teams he picked one that is most likely going to get WT/GT wildcards and probably one that will pay him the most.
