Why will Eric not ride the NC TT??

Have you actually read the Weekly News #79?
A Tale of Two getting close to 500 posts
In early August, Ian Butler started a story about two young Belgian cyclists, Stijn and Eric, making their way into the professional cycling scene on the World Tour team Lotto-Belisol. Now, after just one month, his thread has reached 25 pages and is very close to it 500th post. Along with some impressive results, his race reports with lots of in race pictures has made it the most popular PCM12 story so far.
Meanwhile, you already have 49 pages and almost 1000 posts |

@Jakstar22: Thanks!
@sutty68: I agree, it looks much better
@Daggen: Thanks a lot
@johannes-w: I realized last season that I enjoy them racing together, too. More than individual, so I tried to put them together more often, like in the first season
@PCM Rulezz: Well, He'll peak for the Giro and he might hold his form until the Dauphinée, but he won't be able to keep his form through the NCs. So that's for next year, possibly
@Logghje: I know It's really amazing, the motivation's still here, it's going good, I get so much response from all these great people really great!
I have to admit I planned on racing Omloop today. However, I'll ride it tomorrow. That's a promise!
Spoiler You can blame the new game I bought, Minecraft!

Minecraft is addictive but not original. Hopefully you'll be back at PCM soon.
My love for PCM has been rivaled only by 1 game: Timesplitters 2.
But nothing beets PCM, no matter how bad it is.

Omloop Het Nieuwsblad
The moment I've been waiting for since October is finally here: the start of the new cobbled season!
I have a tradition of not riding a good early season. This year I intend to change that, starting right here.
The story of 90% of the race is just: reducing the peloton cobbled section by cobbled section.
The real race got started very late, with an attack from Cancellara.
Of course, that isn't a man you just let go, so a chase was organized.
When we started the sprint, we didn't know whether or not we'd still catch Cancellara.
Luckily, we caught him. I had one purpose left: winning!
Van Avermaet was going strong but I was faster!
He didn't give up, I came closer but I was too late. Van Avermaet wins this race in his Belgian Jersey, I end up 2nd, a good performance here, my personal best.

In other news: Jurgen Van Den Broeck has signed a new contract for another 2 years, he's clearly very happy here. Jelle Vanendert was also offered a new contract but he's hesitant and will wait until July/August.
Rodriguez, Purito, will retire after this season.
See you tomorrow, for Kuurne - Brussel - Kuurne! |

That was close. Unlucky 2nd I guess.
Good to see VdB staying and with Vanendert most likely leaving this might give Eric some more opportunities I guess. |

That's a good 2nd place. By the way, what difficulty are you playing, hard or extreme?

@TomC: Maybe next year he can move up one place
@roturn: Yeah, that might be the bright side However, Eric's not quite the man for the hilly one-day classics.
@dienblad: I'm playing on hard, at the moment. I admit I'm not the best PCM-player, but I'm just here to make as good a story as I can
@Miguel98: Thanks! |
