But one thing is clear after this Tour
Contador needs to focus on winning the Giro and Vuelta instead and just leave Sky to the TdF because he cant do shit anymore.
Guess the steaks are as good anymore
Please relax, he had a bad day yesterday - everybody can have that, even Contador.
He looked much better today and I think he will only get better day for day. It's gonna get hard for him to win the Tour but to say "he can't do shit anymore" is simply just stupid.
He can still fight for podium i think. He has also great help in person of Kreuziger, who looks completely dedicated to him.

Tejay seems to had his major peak at Tour of California. Ouch.
Good rides by Lutsenko & Clarke today personally. So did Plaza & Erviti, did awesome job for Movistar.

Movistar was riding to keep Porte away, ofcourse they were riding for 2nd at first. Later they noticed Froome could easily follow and tried with Quintana (I agree, awful attacks by him) and a 2nd place is absolutely great for Valverde, ofcourse they will ride for that.
And how is it not normal? The same thing happened to the Liquigas team after riding for Sagan the stage before the first mountain stage.
2nd is great? in what world??
Anyone who says 2nd is good is just making excuses for losing.
What would you rather do? Lose Porte or try and break Froome wich won't work?
Try to win.
They have 14 more days for that.
More like 4 stages and they will loose some 2 minutes in TT. This was their best chance ever, Sky will be hardly so bad any other day.

If a certain % of the peloton finishes together out of the time limit I think they let them back in, but I dont remember what the % is exactly, or if its even an official rule, or just a guideline.

There is also unoffićial rule that you cant kick out best sprinter in Tour history to ruin his quest of 5 consecutive Champs wins.

California is great place to peak..when you dont have descent rivals. I donkt know what is wrong with him.
I never thought that I am pleased to see ndy back..well this was not yet stage when we have 4-5 leaders left.
I did not see first part of stage..how was possible to blew Sky with Porte away anyway? |

Indeed. I would be very suprised not to see him at the podium in Paris. |

I would of course do as they did but i would also have done like Rodgriguez, Contador and Valverde did to Froome in the Vuelta.
They know most riders have a hard time with those constant attacks , so why didn´t they do that? again and again punch
At least they would have shown they haven't laid down and just let Froome win the tour.
And can you remember who came 2nd the last 10 years on top of your head? without looking. I bet you can remember who won. |

26'' is not bad after a stage like this. ASO probably stopped the clock for him

Beloki, Ullrich, Kloden, Basso, Schleck, Evans, Froome
Menchov if you see Schleck as '10 winner.
