You could be harsh and say that a wheelsucker won the Dauphine, the Paris Nice, Tour of the Basque Country and the Tour de Suisse.
But you have got to play to your skill set, the likes of Evans, Wiggins, Martin and Kloden have all won short stage races this year, why because they can time trial and hang on in the climbs.
Well done Levi Leipheimer and a nice performance from Rabobank and Cunego too. Leopard Trek will be encouraged by Monfort and probably Fuglsang. But the Schlecks need to find a bit more form and yesterdays pacing was a bit silly in my opinion.
