You write so many stories you forget which stories you are writing
I dont forget the good ones. And In the last 12 months, I've only started 2 (3 if you count Katusha which hasn't started)

I think we can both agree

You are my man Valverde321, i was upset with this disgrace too
Good luck with transfering the story, just dont destroy it
We have to be careful though. The Brits could get us
Thanks, and I think I have thought of something that I will still enjoy, and wont make you guys want to kill me.
Edit:
Yep, I've definitely thought of something. I just need to learn how to edit a PCM 11 savegame now, or maybe it would be better if it was the db....

Nah, I'm just moving it to the new game, and its the middle of the season and now that 11 works, I really dont want to be playing 10, so I'm too lazy to finish the season....

They would need time bonuses to return as well
Wasn't Rojas in the same group?
You are moving this story to 11? Is it easy to convert? |

I thought I remember Rojas finishing quite a few groups ahead of Cav, but then the next stage which was also filled with Mountains they then finished in the same group. Because the first of two stages I'm talking about, I think Rojas got some Sprint Points.
I may be wrong though, I dont really remember much tbh, other than the fact I felt Cav should have been DQed since Rojas is my favourite sprinter
I am! I have no clue if it will be easy I think I have a pretty good plan on how to do this too. Its probably unorthodox though.

Oh maybe I am wrong, thinking about it there was two stages not one and I know they were together on one but they may not have been on both...
Hopefully it works I take it it is harder than copying it over |

1. The difficulty of converting the story depends a lot on what you want to convert. Everything? Almost impossible, if you ask me. What I did was to edit only the stats of my team and the rest was the result of a simulation to the point I was at my old savegame. The only other thing I did was to do all the transfers and add a few teams. All that wasn't too much work. If you want to do more, you might want to ask roturn, I think he has put more work in converting his Garmin story.
2. I think I have thought of something that I will still enjoy, and wont make you guys want to kill me.
This is the most important of all Screw us, as long as you enjoy writing the story. Plus, the more you like it, the better the reports, usually, so you should do whatever you think is best, not what you think we think is best

@ Mre - Thanks a lot
@ Alastair - I may be wrong as well. I think its pretty hard
@ Cunego - Well, what a valuable post
I dont think I want to convert everything, but I want to make it so that it doesn't seem like a completely parallel story. I was planning on simming a season or two, just to get all the smaller riders that I dont plan on editing up to the point of their growth that would be similar to where they were in this save.
And thanks! I remember how much fun it was to edit this save for this season which will ultimately be ending very shortly so I think that if I can add my own touches to the next save on 11, it will be extremely enjoyable.

Exactly. And if you add random potential, you also get a nice fresh breeze into the story
I'm already looking forward to what you'll be doing very much!

I cant wait actually. Might just do Katusha and David at the same time right away...
Also I've decided my plan for the most part!
Will see more tonight hopefully!

Paris - Roubaix
April 11th, 2013
Sky Squad
This may be the biggest day of racing in the entire season! And I have been chosen to ride for my team, and help my leader Maaskant! This is going to be great, and I cant wait to hit those cobbles and see what I can do. Like normal the weather is pretty gloomy but that may actually improve the conditions, because it can sometimes be harder when its dry and dusty on the cobbles. I really don't know what to write, I'm just too pumped for this race, and after this, I get to find out my second half schedule.
The peloton begins to ramp up the pace, as we get close to the first cobble section about 1/3 of the way into the race. There still isn't a breakaway, so any time now, a rider could make their move. I was actually thinking I'd get in the break, so I made sure to get close to the front of the group, first a quick bottles stop though.
But the weirdest thing happened. I made may way to the front with my team, and Maaskant, Stannard and Thomas were all missing. Turns out, the peloton couldn't follow their pace at the front, so they adjusted their gears and made a deceiving move awat from the pack. They just decided to go with it, and after a few km's they had built up a lead of over 1 minute.
However about 20km later, they were brought back, or gave up themselves once it became apparent they wouldn't stay away. Still it was a nice effort, but lets hope they didn't waste their energy.
Then something horrible happened. I took an extremely hard fall. The cameras missed my initial fall, but they came in time to see me get in the ambulance. I was in a lot of pain, and I was bleeding quite a bit. It wasn't really serious, atleast I thought, but I was going to miss some time on the bike...
With 20km left, Matti Breschel made a risky move away from the peloton, as the group slowed down. It looked like a strong move, so others like Ballan tried to follow, but were unable. He only had himself to beat now, with a good gap, and only a handful of minutes left.
The chase group enters the track. They can see Breschel ahead of them, but he's out of reach. Their battle is for 2nd!
Breschel takes the Hell of the North, and does it in the perfect fashion, a solo ride! The others come racing in behind him, but no others from Sky make it inside the Top 10, as Maaskant clearly made the wrong decision by attacking earlier in the stage.

My injuries are a lot worse than what I first thought. I have fractured quite a few of my ribs, and I have bruised both lungs, as well I've broken my collarbone and right arm. The doctors have advised me to take the season off. My manager has also told me that it would be best to do that as well. I'm still young, so if I got a headstart at off-season training, I could be in very good form for the next season's early races. This doesn't help my contract negotiations though, as I don't know who I will be riding with next season, and I wont really have any results to show now. I'm supposed to fly fly home to Canada in a week or two, but it all depends on how well I can breathe, so it may wait a few more weeks.
Thanks for everyone thats supported me this season, and I look forward to telling you about my racing next season.
Goodbye.

PS.
So thats it guys. Last update in this thread! Hopefully you guys dont hate me too much, but I wanted to make the switch now, and I also got a little sloppy with the report too

Nicely thought. What will be next, David moving to Katusha so you can literally do both stories at the same time?
Good luck converting the story, will be great to see this in PCM 11.

@ Teddy - I knew I should have thought of something else, except there really isn't any other way of doing it.
@ Luigi - Nicely thought? I can tell you that wont happen, but well..............
And Thanks.
@ Mre - Geez, hadn't thought of that. I've already started making the graphic so I can open the PCM 11 thread tonight I'll make sure its my first update in the new thread, although it will be brief, and I'll only cover PT stuff.
Agreed, its a cheap way of doing it, but I've now played 11, and PCM 10 pretty much sucks. It was torture playing P-R Thank though.
I knew I'd get hate for this. Atleast I didn't go ahead with the other idea....

I don't know why you should be hated for that. Let's look at it this way:
1. This story is great.
2. You prefer PCM11 over 10.
3. The more you enjoy playing, the more you enjoy reporting, the better the reports get.
First conclusion: The change to PCM11 will make this fantastic story even better.
4. There's no logic reason to wait with a fundamental improvement.
5. You didn't wait longer than you had to.
6. If crashing out, then in the probably most legendary race of all.
Second conclusion: You did the best thing possible.
Lawyer'd!
PS: As I already wrote in the 11 thread, I can't wait to see the story continue. And a short review of the "missed season" would be nice, I agree on this with mresuperstar.

Damn those ninjas who attacked Veilleux. Anyway, it was an original way to "stop" this story, or maybe I should say season, but I hope David returns in good shape for 2014. |

@ Cunego - Well you know. Its kinda a cheap idea, but I'm glad you've looked at it, the same way I have Thanks!
@ Freitas - Haha, ninjas Thanks, glad you thought it was original.
And thanks to everyone for following this story. You're support kept me going, at least until things got really slow during school, and Fifa
But now that I have the PCM 11 thread, I look forward to seeing you there! Thanks.

Figured I should leave a comment here too. It's a bit sad to see such great story "ending", but on the other hand, I'm looking forward to the next season in PCM11.
Congrats to an awesome story. Let's go to part two!
