TdY was really quite good today. Action for a lot of the last 75km or so and a very very good finish. Well worth trying to watch
Pure Energie from Tommy Gun (the ole man, or is he??)
That was his second Stage-race win this year. He found the Fountain of Youth
Lovely to see the huuuge crowds all over Yorkshire once more great the riders.

D. Moreno won his first victory this year in Asturias, nice to see!
Hugh Carthy won overall, I think he is only 21 years old. He has been in Spain for one year and speaks Spanish without any accent it seems. Good on him to take a different path, very interesting. Something which also is interesting is the fact that he climbed Acebo on stage 1 faster than Indurain in 1995, Escartin in 1997 and Beloki in 2000. Seems like a monster performance..... Amitty has it all on twitter, but too lazy today |

He's estimated at 5.99 W/kg which is big but not alien and some have said they had a pretty descent tailwind for a lot of the climb. No matter what way you look at his performance it was impressive, I like that he went to a spanish team and is taking his chances

I dont wanna condemn the kid either like some has on twitter and even if he is doping, then what? He sure as hell as made a lot more out of his life than I have at 21, impressive dude.
Movistar should really just sign the 2 best rider from Caja Rural each year. They have such a talented roster atm, I really, really like them, would be great fun to see Contador on that team. |

What is going on. Bouhanni is being trashed completly by Couqard. 3 Sprints, 3 wins for Couqard |

True, but I think today Bouhanni didn't bring it in the sprint, he was well positioned for the sprint, but didn't launch anywhere near the speed of Couqard. |

Pathetic attempt by Mark Cavendish. An American should be the one given the chance to shine in his home race in which he has won before.

It's almost hilarious how bad Cavendish is this season. He enters all these shit races like Tour Croatia and Tour of Slovenia (California is a bit bigger) and he doesn't even deliver in those races.
The only defense in his case, is that his leadout train isn't working at all. |

He wasn't that far off, actually.
I've heard worse. I keep chuckling whenever Kirby or Liggett or another non-Dutch or Belgian commentator tries to pronounciate Wout Poels or Bauke Mollema. |

Very impressive sprint win for Sagan. The finish looked complex with different groups launching all over the road into a reported big headwind. Through all the chaos Sagan rode the wheels perfectly to come through on the line.
Cavendish was reportedly boxed and came no where, Kristoff went backwards like a sail in the wind and Coquard came from way back for 4th, even if there was a big gap after the first 3. |
