That was my interpretation yes.
Rolland second in the GC, Petit second in the points classification. This is not a coincidence.

I guess Caruso is trying to give himself a challenge to get the podium.

Rolland breaking the curse
Great race for him and the team in Suisse, always a race where he does well.

Congrats to Rui Costa, also to Statoil, three stages, two jerseys plus 6th overall. CCC's Rivera must be the one rider I see most often in the videos, always in the breakaway or working hard for his leader.

Me and jandal approve this
Suisse ended very well for us. Chamorro 3rd in GC, stage win by Rivera. I'm okay with that!
Thanks for the reports! |

Shonak is on fire with his reports - and so is Valgren! What a victory! At first, I was disappointed with Schorn. On paper one of the best sprinters in Rheinland-Pfalz, he was only 16th, 14th and 19th in the mass sprints and ended just 26th in the points ranking.
Still, he was 4th in the GC before the last stage and maybe he'd have a chance to win this. But then I saw I had underestimated that final hill, Schorn's good but not that good. Beautifully, instead it was Valgren who launched an irresistible attack 1 km from the top, enough to win the stage and the GC! Brilliant!

That's a freaking amazing performance by the team
No win, but we have 2nd, 3rd, 5th, 11th, 18th, 25th and 28th in the stage. Pantano killed Herklotz, and i think that the win could have been possible if Rabottini had been better placed when De Marchi started to pull in the group.
This was a stage i was dreaming of when i sent all my climbers to this race, instead of dividing them with Suisse

Rheinland was right about the expected.. Some good results, four riders in the Top15, too bad Vakoc and Kern didn't show some good legs on the final stage, but Robert and Sicard's presence made up for it a bit.

Rheinland Pfalz Rundfahrt was awesome. Big one for Aviva and Credit Suisse in their promotion push, and also Vittel solid again. Great job by Husillos for us with the KOM and also Alves with a big time race 16th GC and 2nd U25.

Herklotz really fucked that up, it certainly wasn't worth attacking again once caught. At least the remaining four stages offer opportunities to make up time, but the first two look very hard to catch.

Caruso didn't manage to get on the podium but 4th is alright as well. Lang also with a great race, so far he's always climbed better than Cattaneo, a bit surprising for me.
Rheinland Pfalz was very good, Aregger especially looked really strong. Maybe I actually brought too many strong puncheurs though as Puccios relied a bit too much on them for my liking.
Thanks for this insane pace Shonak.

Don't scare me, Aviva is not pushing for promotion. We like to see our riders in the videos, not just far down in the result lists!

Jens Dumont scoring big here. Obviously great for his progress points, but I was kinda hoping he would not reach a 72 AVG yet so he could stay U23 one more year.
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.
