Good move, I think. Better than Bjarne Riis, to be honest. Edvald might have ended up as a helper had he moved to a larger team, and that was part of the reason why I wanted him to switch teams to begin with.
I am not very familiar with MTNs squad, but EBH might be getting a larger part to play there than he would have gotten in a team higher up.
LOL, so the man who can actually restart many careers and is master doper would be bad? Yeah, second division team is much better. In fact it really is, because EBH is so lame, he has nothing to do in WT...
Fixed that for you.
Seriously? It's not like more than 50 % of every other manager/DS has a bad past? You can't take away from Bjarne Riis that he is a great tactician and he is good at spotting talent (young and old). |

Boasson Hagen have signed for a new team, will be announced on tomorrow about where hes going Anyone have an idea? its confirmed that he is not going to Tinkoff.
My guess is that he will either sign for MTM Qhubeka or Orica GreenEdge
that is what i was thinking, maybe also Astana But since Tinkoff dismissed his wanted salary i doubt any of Orica or MTN could afford him.
Orica has a relatively large budget IIRC.

I hope they can get a world tour license then
They almost certainly don't want it. It means they are required to race a huge calendar and that in turn means that they need to hire a ton of new riders. Both of these thigns cost a massive amount of money, which MTN simply doesn't have. With EBH and Ciolek they will get the TDF wildcard and that is what they really want from this.

In relationship. Sorry, I know it's lame, but I just had to.
Konig was connected to Trek, Orica and Tinkoff few weeks ago. I don't think there are any news since that point. I don't know anything about Machado, tho.

As expected Teunissen, U23 Paris - Roubaix winner and arguably the best Dutch u23 this season, joins Lotto NL - Brandloyalty from their feeder team Rabobank Development Team.

The MTN manager confirmed to a Norwegian journo that they are trying to get Tyler Farrar and Matt Goss as well.

Basically sprinters that can't perform in WT any more but could snatch some victories in CT. Not bad... |

Farrar finished 4th in Vattenfall Cyclassics just few days ago so I wouldn't say he can't perform in WT. |

There's a difference between being not as good as some time ago and being unable to fight at the WT level at all.
Only Talansky, Slagter and Dan Martin scored more WT points than Farrar for Garmin this year. |

I think Konig extend his contract 3 years more. I read 3/4 weeks ago, I don´t remember the source, sorry. |

Well, then you remember wrong he has nothing signed yet and Bora is not very probable choice, surely not for 3 years.. |

Tiernan-Locke is suspended...
Farrar finished ahead of a very weak out-of-form Cavendish! He worked as a leadout one week ago and got his first leader status yesterday, but I hope Farrar, Goss and EBH can turn things around in MTN. (IF all are going there)

Cav's just won two stages, so he couldn't have been on that bad form.
And why would Farrar be on any better form?

There was a fake, new, Bora account on twitter who said that. König immediately said that it was fake.
