Have searched a bit but couldn't really find an answer on my question. How are the finances for a team?
You have a wage cap to pay all your salaries. But you can also use money to transfer riders, to train riders or to apply for wildcards? Where does this money come from? Does every team gets an amount of money based on how their performances have been the past season? (Race goals and target races)?

As a new team, your transfer / training / wildcard budget will depend on the difficulty of your goals. Teams who've already spent at least a season in the game will also get a bit from the amount of goals they accomplished.

@Pellizotti2
But the goals is a double-edged sword because if you are too optimistic there will be a penalty next season if I read well old posts. Is there a way to calculate the gain or loss of a goal accomplished or not?

Of course, setting hard goals is a risk. If you fail all the goals, you'll have a significantly smaller budget than everyone else for next year.
You should definitely set goals you think there's at least a reasonable chance that you can accomplish.

My advice would be to not worry about how much exactly a goal is worth or you might lose through not achieving it and pick your goals according to what you want your team to do.
Eg Big Brash and Ambitious - pick 5 WIN goals in HC races. |

Aim to underachieve and you might achieve some of them. I got 4 of mine, and should have got 5, but Haedo likes 2nd place more than 1st apparently.

You're win goal is pretty much a shot in the dark, especially if you don't have a team. As such, I would recommend not putting it on your main target for the season.

I personally don't get why we have to set our goals before we know our precise team. At least not for those team manager who doesn't have a single rider, yet. Especially for complete new manager its kinda hard. I mean, yeah I can pick some races and say "I want to achieve a stage win there", but its just guessing, because I don't know how my team is going to look like.
So my question: Can we adjust the goals once we have all riders or are they set in stone?

No adjusting after you have picked races. Your race goals determine your budget to a degree so they have to be set before transfers.

When everything behind the scenes is done. Patience is a virtue.

Already thought so, just got confused by everyone already seeming to have it (almost) complete.

I´m not quite sure about the Goals..
The picture is how much a goal cost, right? So if I ex. pick winning 5 C2 races, if have used 20 points?
And "CT Team Standing" is the final Ranking, when the Season is done, right? |

Yes and yes. The points shown in the picture are added up to create your total, which helps to determine your budget. And the team ranking is for the final combined scores amongst all CT teams. With the separate regional tours it is a combined ranking of both CT and PCT teams.

You should ask this question in the Goals thread
But Ill answer anyway.
Yes, if your 5 goals are to win 5 C2 races (note that you need to name which races it is you aim to win) then that would be a goals cost of 20. But you do need at least 1 Standings related goal.
CT Team Standings is the final rankings for just the CT teams, yes.

How big will the difference in points between a C1 and a C2 race be? I need to decide whether targeting C1 races is worth the risk of getting owned by PCT teams.
I'm asking this now instead of just waiting for the points announcement because it might influence my choice of goals.
