I'm really happy to see that Gidich is already able to win PT stage races. Actually it is the first ever stage race on this level my team could win. I was sure that the gap to Buchmann would be to big to bridge in the final tt. It's a welcome surprise that he managed to do that nevertheless and it means the breakaway victories and following lack of bonus seconds in the last two hilly stages are not deciding. Also regarding minor GC placings this race should give us some depth points on top with 6 more of my riders in positions 21-43.

It's a shame that Lutsenko wasn't able to do more in the hill stages and the team allowed breakaway wins there as well. That cost us many points.
But in the end he did win the green jersey and 6th in GC, so it's not terrible.
Also good job by Malecki and Godon to claim GC places 18, 19 and with it 2nd in the TC. Little things like this add up and change this from a mediocre to an ok race for us.

This seemed like a training ride that went badly. We did lots of chasing with nothing to show for it in the end.
Between Hong Kong, Portugal and now Tirreno our uphill squads have been nothing short of a disappointment. At least this one didn't count for us.

Goos in total did well here in a "hillier" race. Unfortunately the hilly stages were pretty selective, so that a TT couldn`t compensate for it.
Still a decent showing from him here. Only the team should have gone for the break more often when not having a sprinter or tier1/2 GC rider.

We failed in opening TTT and never got a chance to turn this race to successful one. 12th overall is just average result, nothing less nothing more.

Kind of a no show from our team during the whole race, Kanerva almost saved our Tirreno by getting into the BotD and finishing 2nd during stage 6.

I had all of that installed earlier but had to change my hard disk in the off season this time and lost the old files. Hard to keep track what all was installed and looks like I missed reinstalling it.
