I just don't understand Tejay Van Garderen. I have no fricking idea what his deal is. The guy cracked hard and lost minutes to CT guys in freaking California. Today he's a great climber again. No idea what is wrong with him.

It might be because none of the big guys are in top form here and just testing out for the Tour. Look at Sep Kuss. He was nowhere in Giro when Roglic needed him but today he was able to ride with the yellow jersey group for most of the final climb and then bring Kruijswijk to the finish line.

Well yeah, he certainly didn't need to be a amazing today to stay with the group, but he's been flat out terrible a lot recently.

Guess it is was the weather, can't really blame the riders not feeling too great under those conditions. Lets hope for a more regular stage tomorrow with nice weather and lots of attacks.
