Milk only from now on. No more Guinness!
Ahah, I guess it paid off to have Dippo boys sabotage your team's fuel We really dodged a bullet there!
Only one more stage, let's go guys!

Some success for Guarero at last! Almost funny (sorry viking) to see all the top guns gettting a win or two except for the biggest favourite.
Yeah I thought about that aswell, it´s very funny...!
And now even Vanderbiest won.... So I would bet on Thorsen ( ) or Kupfernagel for the last stage.

Me thinks you should be happy they atleast tried a leadout train....again.
I do feel it´s funny that Vinther (the guy I almost gave away too you so I could get a better leadout man to Ahlstrand) just won over Ahlstrand in the sprint.
BUT wtf, 4th place! PARTY in the Spotify team! |

Van der Sande with another good showing, if he keeps his GC position I'll be ok. But still a stage win eludes him so far, maybe tomorrow more luck. Thanks for swifty reports matt

A much better stage for my team there. Bouhanni with a very good 2nd place which is unusually good. Reza has really surprised me with his performance getting in the breakaways, KOM leader despite being a very average climber.

Reza yet again in the breakaway and a little disappointing that he didn't manage to reach the finish with the break. The KOM win is an important one as we needed the points from it as Bouhanni failed to get a big haul with one podium finish and 10th in the GC. Not great but not awful. Thank you for the reports and some great racing!

Thorsen
3rd for us today and securing 3rd place in the GC, so very happy with this stage and this race as a whole.
Congrats Viking on finally getting a stage win! Thanks for the reports too Matt.

That was not so hard was it Ahlstrand?
Makes this race a little better for us and great seeing van Poppel and Kruopis getting bonus seconds. BUT Ahlstrand at 4th in the GC is not what I hoped for, obviously.
So much congratulations to Gustavo for the win and Trek and Atlantius for sneaking in front of Ahlstrand in GC!
Last but not least thanks for all your great report Matt even if I not was happy about what you reported all the time |

Bah, dropped 3 places
6th is still decent though, we continue our race for a place in the top 15

While I of course would have loved another stag win, there's no one I'd rather lose to than Ahlstrand/Spotify. At least it wasn't close enough for the lost bonus seconds to have had any GC effect either.
I think I can be relatively content looking over the entire race with a stage win, GC 2nd as well as GC 13th for Vinther. Both Lo Cicero and Vinther proving to be very good additions to the team
Thanks for the high-quality reports!

All I wanted was for Van der Sande not to lose his anonymous 7th place but no, Sam Bennett had to come up from behind and take it s.t.
One measy botd isn't also very nice but had to be expected. Honestly I had hoped Roux would go for mtns but well.
Gratz to Porto and spotify on the last day. well done. thanks for the reports matt! looking already forward to your coverage of next year

That was finally the much deserved victory for Ahlstrand which should make this tour acceptable at the end. Classy race by Spotify, like the previous 7 stages should've been from their point of view.

Yes! Way to go Óscar! Lo Cicero looked to be good for the victory and with that gap opening, things were scary. Consistency was key. Great to see Avelino's last year race being emulated as well.
Good to see Ahlstrand finally getting his win!
Thanks for this week long race, matt!

A shame to see Thorsen drop in the GC, but he got some good places on some stages and got our first points for the rankings. So it was a decent race for us, especially when it's C1.

Well... at least this is over... Brammeier was on for a good GC and KOM till abandoning so we get close to nothing from this race
Honestly hoped for more but a couple top 10s is all Rowe is worth in this competition
