A good final result for Tim Roe and the team. I am really happy with the way the race went for us!

I wish De Maar had used that excess energy yesterday instead. It would have been much better for the end result. But overall, not a bad race for Carlsberg. It just had the potential to e so much better.
Congrats to Generali and thanks to Roturn for the reports.

Only a top 10 in the TT for Bazhkou all Tour, rather dissapointed really. I expected more of this team but results speak otherwise

I echo that. Matt taking the GC win here really does spice up the promotion battle.
Curaco champ taking the stage win turned out to be a bit of a sour one in the end, those high up the GC going into the TT no doubt suffered in the wind.
I do think Shonak missed a wee trick not sending Tennant here, I don't get Selwink's dissatisfaction - this was a race for the TT guys and he has a 72 TT guy in the top 10. Hm!
Anyhow this race was just a warm up for the big one - USAPCC is up next on the CTalender. So look out for that! |

Cherel on the attack again on the final stage and gets another Top 10, but the GC was a no hoper without a real TT specialist.
thanks roturn of the reports, and well done Generali!

Yeah definitely a missed opportunity for a Top 3/5 or possible stage win, glad it was only a C2 race.

Before the race started I was worried about Mendes and Rabon, despite claims that it isn't a hilly enough parcours to take the advantage away from the time-trialists, but wow! Should have been more worried about Kuboki just exploding in the TT.
Well done to Generali and Pierre Rolland. I'll settle for a stage and the points jersey.
Thanks for the report rotrun. High quality as per usual.
