At least the last stage isn't so testing, hope that Rowe can finish off with a top 10 to at least secure that top 5 GC he has... Its a successful race anyhow.

I want to cry after loosing a lot of time yesterday Kip stays with the pack on the more challenging hilly stage. This shows that he would've been capable to do the same on stage 6.
A GC top 5 would've already justified his wage for me.
The team now seems to ride for Nepomnyachsniy who is the only one of my team who always finished in the front group. Now closely missing the bonus seconds but at least moving himself up into the scoring positions of the GC.
Kind of frustrating to always have someone in the break but being far behind in the KoM classification.. |

Well, the top 10 looks secure now, which is great.
Can't be too happy being behind the likes of Mezgec & Meyer in GC with only one top 4 place to Castaneda.
What say you, Colombian, how about you round out this tour with a podium? |

Thanks for the reports tsmoha.
If we can take one positive from a racing perspective it is that Moinard never gave up fighting for the KOM which is valiant from the old man. He was in numerous breakaways.

You're welcome, LLS. Moinard's fight in this final stage was definitely thrilling. His attempt to break clear from the group was kinda too much though. Should have saved that energy for the actual sprint, I guess
Overall, I enjoyed the race. Eddie Stobart with a lucky GC result for Renshaw, but other than that, the AI/peloton was in control (if it wasn't for the Vantomme crash plus wind on that stage, it probably wouldn't have got any breakaway win until this final stage today).
I'm really sorry for Gusta/Prio though. Didn't notice any crash from Avelino in this first stage, but his lack of performance kinda leads me to the conclusion that I must have missed something. A shocking "result" that I always hate to report (just like Intxausti in Catalunya).

at least its all over now
stage win goal complete and 5th in the GC is a great result for us so I will not complain, although if it weren't for a break we would have had 2 wins here
points are points and i need plenty of them, bring it on
EDIT: oh and thanks tsmoha for the reports, sorry for forgetting!

Vantomme making me very happy here.
Sure, he was disappointing in the last 6 stages(well, maybe not Stage 8 itself ) but a GC Top 5 was always the goal(literally one of our goals), so can be very happy with 3rd.
What I'm not exactly pleased about is that, I think, we didn't enter a single break, maybe missing 1, but with all the fighters I have I expect some more.

Today is a great day for the team, as this is the first victory in a stage race GC..
kupfernagel was just brilliant it would be almost impossible to be more consistent than he was in this race, 2 wins and 1 third place the remaining stages each time ended in the top10. Before the race was almost unthinkable obtain this result, but given what happened I think is a very fair result.
I'm sorry that Avelino was never able to be among the best as it could have made the race even more interesting.
This result is a great impels for another quiet season by the team, if I'm not mistaken this puts us over 20 PPRD at this time and above 600 points...
Once again a great job tsmoha thanks for your efforts

Congratulations to Karcher. It must be amazing for them to win this hard contested race. Kudos, fintas
As obvious this was a race to forget for Prio - Port, butI'm very pleased to walk away with the U25 classification. Nice achievement from Lionel Coutinho, he's really impressing this season.
Huge thank you tsmoha. Beautiful reports, extremely well paced and very entertaining to read. I'm sure nothing of note happened to Avelino. You're one of the most attentive reporters we have. He just sucked and all of our lives will need to go on with that in mind

Great paced reports. Always good if you know when a report comes online!
Some very interesting results. Despite all the critics about this PCM we could the sprinters take the GC home which is great!
Interesting that Kupfernagel takes it home. I expected it to be one of the big three (Cio,VanTomTom, Avelino) but if you perform this consistantly then it's well deserved for sure! Kudos!
I said it already and I'm gonna say it again: Rowe with a great race. 5th is fantastic for someone with his ACC!
OTP and Fred Whitton can be quite happy about their results as well. Not too shabby for CT teams to get a 6th/7th GC results our of a C1 race.
Avelino of course the big loser of this race.
A Big Thank You To All MG Reporters!

Coming back after a long wekeend to see the positions got better and better. A good race for us, even though not that many points in the end. Thanks for the great reports!
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

AMEX-Navigon is very pleasd with Giacomo Nizzoloa's 4th place finish here in Ireland. His crash in stage 5 hurt his chances, but he battled back on the key stage 7 for a 2nd place finish.
On the last stage he was knocked off the podium by a good perrformance by Vantome.
Jack Keough added points finishing 18th in the GC on a fine stage 7 also where he finished 8th and moved from 36th to 18 in the GC.
Overall a solid performance by 2nd tier sprinting team.
On to the Cobbles at Dwars Door Vlaandaren.

Luckily the sprinters decided this race. Despite two break wins.
Nice looking podium with a small surprise.
Nizzolo in 4th is great and somehow shows that Groenewegen could have done well here.
That said, he might have done an Avelino here. Really a shit race for him and not understandable to me why there are sprinters not participating. Even more when he is a top3 sprinter. |

A race with stark positives and negatives for us.
- Castaneda only finished on the podium once and only finished with 44 points. Being behind two CT teams, though, in the GC is a real kick in the goolies especially comment-less ones....
+ Though he never got dropped, which easily could have happened, and still finishes in the GC top 10. So around 50 points overall.
Hmmm. OK. Thanks a lot for another race tsmoha, well done to get two stages up everyday aswell.
- Yes, I still believe Avellino crashed on stage 1 - on the logic that: when else in this game has a top 3 sprinter never sprinted without crashing? |

Stage 1: Yeah, fuck sprinting, you just chill in 25th place Damion. Nice job.
Stage 2: MUCH better! Fourth place in that field is quite a good result, and a breakaway appearance from Kev as an added bonus. THAT's how our home race should go!
Stage 3: 9th is I suppose about where Drapac should be coming in, decent I guess.
Stage 4: 14th isn't good enough - I'm still expecting regular Top 10s or at least breakaways.
Stage 5: Yeah, no.
Stage 6: Well fuck you too Damion. But KoM lead is definitely very sweet.
Stage 7: No words. Also lost the KoM lead.
Stage 8: How Speirs couldn't win from that group is beyond me, but I guess this just wasn't our race.
