Not a sensational surprise to see Ignatiev beaten in such a time trial. I mean, Gustav Larsson crushed him in the Isle of Man TT two seasons ago on a similar profile
But what a hilly stage that was from Craven. Absolutely stunning performance.
And thanks for the nice reports, tsmoha! |

Outstanding performance by Craven! Loved the way he won the last hill stage. Nice to see that he also did well on the TT and kept the leaders jersey. Hopefully nothing out of the ordinary will happen on the last stage!
Van Avermaet is decently placed in the points classification. With a great result on the last stage he could win it, although Greipel will be tough to beat.

When it is bad, it is bad. The team (and me) should move on and focus on another races.

Final stage is already online today, as I want to take at least one day off from PCM(-reporting) tomorrow
Btw, someone asked for the MO/HI-ratio on that hilly stage: 0.10 Sorry for the late reply on this!
Will comment on my team later.

KoM jersey and 2nd position on 2nd stage. Fair enough for a CT team.

I will take that 6th from Koren. If only he had tried in that hilly stage, i would feel better about his result though. Anyway, brought him to add points and he avoided a disastrous race. Also grabbing the team's classification is quite nice...
Rogers was a mistake though. His early split in the hilly stage happened due to bad positioning, but looking at the ITT, i definitely did wrong here. Really thought, his high TT would make up for those climbs. Well, better luck next time

Thanks for nice and fast reporting Tsmoha.
Ignatiev was in top11 every stage of the race, but in the end it is worth nothing with missed GC podium, win goal and point jersey lost to Greipel.
There is not better race for Ignatiev in the calendar, now we will rely on surprises.

Greipel
Also quite funny to see Polivoda in 9th, which was basically his position as my main sprinter when coming to C1 races last year

Excellent result for the team and for Gerdemann
I was pretty sure it would end in the top10, but finished in 3rd position exceeds by far my wildest expectations.
Thanks for the great reports Tsmoha.

Come back from a short trip to find Pagoto winning a stage, even in front of his old team mate Kiserlovski. Fantastic result for us in a race with no expectations. The season really start in our next race. This has all been warm-up.

Nice for Privatbank to get a stage win on home soil. Congratulations!
Not the best result for us on the last stage. I had hoped Van Avermaet could edge out Greipel and Grillo and climb a bit more in the points classification, but they were just too strong in the sprint.
Anyway, a great race for us! Didn't think we would win the race and get two stage wins beforehand!
Thanks for fast and great reporting, tsmoha!
