Route video detailing all the profiles and some climb info:
I count 10 uphill finishes of varying descriptions (same as last year's Vuelta :roll and only 1 descent which is pretty stupid. And this just emphasises how ridiculously back-end loaded it is, stage 14-21 is two flat stages plus 7 summit finishes (including Grappa MTT)
EDIT: apparently it includes 5000m less of climbing than this year's edition!?
EDIT 2: CyclingNews calls it 'finely balanced'Edited by Stromeon on 07-10-2013 18:22
Dan Martin is going to the Giro yes but I doubt he can possibly win a GT. In facct, no way. He will be a major threat for stages though depending on who goes.
RIP Exxon Duke, David Veilleux, Double Feature, and Monster Energy

Yuup, too bad recovery and TT. Why is he going, anyway? Assuming hes focusing on the ardennes, it doesnt seem like a great idea, as betancur shows. Personnaly i'd go to tthe vuelta, where he could also gain some form for worlds. This way it looks like he'll be to tired to do much

How so? Betancur had an amazing Giro, as well as great Ardennes campaign.
He got sick mid July ( August ) which seems to have ruined his 2nd part of the season.

Inner ring posted latest UCI technical bulletin is the future shape of pro cycling for 2020.
50 days of racing for division two? Are the UCI on crack or something? ( rhetorical question btw, they obviously are for long time already now )

What an epic fail, how on earth could i forget. Might even be able to see it, depending on exact route and dates. (Can't look at it on my phone.)
Edit: Only got to see the first week, but Betancur really wasn't that outstanding IIRC. Didn't he get sick near the end? (Due to too much racing?)
